I'm thinking about getting one of these, but I'm not familiar with 32h&r mag. I'm an avid reloader and do gunsmith work as a hobby, but how would 32 compare to 380acp? That's what I normally carry now.

How does the Bull Armory compare to a Dan Wesson or a Springfield (like a Range Officer)? Never heard of it. Quality of parts? Fit? To me the Springfield is like a nice cheaper gun, and the DW is about as nice as you get in a factory gun.

I have reviewed Springfields and several Dan Wesson 1911 pistols in the past. In my opinion, Bul pistols are better (subjective) than Springfield, but not quite the quality of Dan Wesson.

That review was on the original. Since then they have upgraded with the Version 2.0, 3.0, and now the 4.0. I have reviewed the 2.0 and 3.0, but not the 4.0.

They are now Parkerized… higher ejection port , barrel is no longer chrome colored… and comes with two sets of grip panels

Tisas makes a bunch of different 1911-style pistols. A true 1911 or 1911 A1 copy doesn't have any of the "modern" touches. Thanks for watching.

I had the same problem, so I bought more of a rounded hollowpoint and it worked much better….Instead of a flat nose. But then I polished my ramp and the old hollow point that wouldn’t feed ended up feeding just fine. Until I polished my ramp, it would not feed more than two out of 17.

I’d love one of those for concealed carry. I have a Dan Wesson Specialist but it’s not a good EDC gun as it is large and heavy. I agree with you too that Dan Wesson is basically top tier among production 1911’s.

The PointMan Carry (PM-C - no longer in the catalog) is essentially a Commander-size upper on an Officer-size frame. Slightly reduced capacity (minus one round) being the trade-off for better concealability.

On my model A I found if you give the bolt a good yank it ejects, but if you work it slow it leaves the case

Mine has run 100%, but Kimber no longer shows the Aegis Elite Pro in their catalog, though there are more than 200 listed on Gunbroker. The closest I can find on the current Kimber website is the KHX Pro. (I have the KHX Pro in .45 and it too runs 100%.).
