Why would you live in Chicago if you have lots of money?

A este desfile le falta mucha creatividad, cada año es lo mismo, no tiene nada de especial, ni de imaginación, para ser un desfile americano, está pésimo y muy pero muy mal organizado.

Born and raised on the South Side in South Shore and I also remember the 79 blizzard, I was 8 yrs old. My family moved to Mississippi in 1984 to care for my ailing grandmother. I remember my Dad had an Audi that would plow through the ice and snow when many people struggled to maneuver through the snowy ,icy streets. The winters and crime are the ONLY things I don't miss about leaving Chicago. I will always love my city and be proud of it. One thing I noticed about Chicago is the changing of the green lightpoles that once defined the streets. I noticed in your video Sunnyside, Campbell and N. Ashland Avenues still have the green lightpoles .If you entered the city from any suburb, you'd notice the difference between whatever lamp posts they had and Chicago's. Most of the neighborhood and main streets used the green poles. The parks and boulevards used the same design of the poles except they were beige colored. Nowadays many of the green poles are being replaced with the white generic "hospital parking lot" poles as I call them. I wish they could've just manufactured new poles with the same design as the classic ones. Those lightpoles ARE Chicago!! As always, I miss the FOOD!!! No city has food like Chicago. I'll probably never move back home, but I always visit my hometown.....Chicago,Illinois 60649

Finally the area is becoming suitable for decent human habitation, instead of a violent, segregated, drug infested zoo.

One of my good friends growing up lived in the glass mansion at 24:40. Never been in a house like that before. The weirdest thing i noticed was the silence. The home was dead quite. When you walked it was silent. No creeks nothing. You couldnt even hear central air.

I’ve been inside this house as well! An architectural masterpiece. There is a basketball court and a rock climbing wall inside as well. A really good friend of mine growing up was their neighbor and we hung out with the homeowner’s kids a few times in the summer. Crazy times riding jet skis on Lake Michigan. Easily the most jaw dropping home I have ever seen.

Where are the black and Hispanic mansion owners I’m not watching no more
I’ve always wondered who lives in these beautiful mansions. When I’m bored I like to see which mansions are for sell. Thank you for the great video and info!

On the one hand these are pretty cool. *On the other hand,* imagine if _right now,_ somebody was outside of _your house_ with a drone... recording your house... and backyard... and everything about where _you_ live. These are people's private homes and lives that are being put on full public display for the entire world to see... without their permission. Just a thought.

I KNOW one of the celebrity who bought a home and it's not in chicago region . And the home isn't a mansion and it's the only home that person lives in . Even if I was a billionaire or millionaire , I would never want a Mansion , I wouldn't feel comfortable in it . I have a home size of 5,000 sq ft , big enough .

every time I think about how cool northern midwestern and northeast cities are with their strong urbanism, density, public transportation etc., I'm reminded that they're practically "closed" for the winter meanwhile in Florida or Texas you can pretty much still go outside for most the winter and not have to worry about anything.
