The five fret reaper comes for us all at some point. I can't imagine how fatigued and over it I would be after all you've done, I'm not even sure I can finish off the one engine lmao. It'll be a huge blow to everything GH if you decide to hang it up for good, but really, do what's best for you. There's more to life than these games and you shouldn't feel obligated to spend your time in a way that is no longer personally fulfilling to you, including keeping up with others' accomplishments which I'd argue is just as big a contribution you've made to these games as all the ridiculous scores, even in just the relatively short time I've been back. Your support played a big role in my motivation to keep pushing GH2, I know there's plenty of vids you were the only comment on, which meant more since the words were coming from somewhere knowledgeable and experienced. Anyway, I remember seeing this on SH, cool to see that extra squeeze in action. Maybe someday I'll get into these games to get a better understanding/appreciation of the squeezes and mechanics, that's always the hardest thing to me about evaluating non-GH2 stuff.

Whether you decide to retire or stay. You left one of the most insane plastic guitar resumes out there. Arguably the best squeezer ever to be seen. Oh yeah you’re right. It should be 1st is current 339,556 which is 116 above this run. And yeah this is the worst ticking song in the game, worse than re-education through labor. There’s only a two frame gap between sustains in this game, we’re talking frame perfect 30 nps chord changes to hold all the ticks.

Nice, man Fug's versatility (especially for his time) was really insane, unfortunately for his scores Fug 2.0 was being assembled in the meantime. 2:54 also there is no way this is your preferred way to play this game lmao

Fug will forever be a legendary squeezer, he had 386/660 1st places in the series at one point. He dominated on every engine pretty much. So Fug 2.0 is quite a compliment. For 2:54 that is my preferred way to play purple notes, I just don’t trust purple notes unless I anchor nothing (they seem less broken if you don’t anchor)

I only mained GHWT for about five weeks and never fully adjusted to them if you’re saying they’re notably better than I’m describing. I still am not 100% consistent at many “easier” slider parts, like in Spiderwebs or even Stillborn.

Nice, I actually made a fairly long comment on your last that I guess didn't get posted, basically just saying it can be useful for newer players to see these to get a better grasp or for current players to compare pace and drive competition. Anyway about this one, just curious does ehw not function the same in post gh3? Looks like you used it on the last vid's 1st act, but didn't for 2nd/3rd here (both these acts were on sequential fret front ends, so I get if it was just for convenience and obv didn't need it anyway).

@@EvilApple567 Unfortunate that KZbin sniped your comment, that also happened to me on one of your videos a year ago. My GHWT/GHM/GHVH scores have absolutely no tech improvement over the scores obtained by players a decade ago. Good God I can hit that sustain the same amount of frames late with or without EHW because I have never gotten EHW to work on GHWT like I have on GH3/WOR (to actually hit past the normal hitbox).

@@KyleHUNK I see, I'm sure you would've come across it at this point if it did exist, although that's curious there's a gap between the 3 and WoR (5 as well?) engines where it works. Maybe someday I'll fire up the PS2 versions of them in PCSX2 and just double check the mechanics frame by frame.

@@EvilApple567 I could do that myself and save you some time. Also I have not played GH5 in a decade (and don’t intend to play it ever again) so who knows there as well. Also I got an 888 NS on I’m the One earlier today. I still don’t think I will ever FC it but I will keep trying, and if I do get it I will be taking a long break from this game before returning to finish off FSFC. That song has worn on me for the past decade (I choked the outro over a decade ago). It is really an unhealthy grind at this point. Fingers crossed.

@@KyleHUNK Man, 888 is the last orange I think, I had a couple/few 887s. Best I can offer it to get really consistent at 1A and the outro to make it as straight a shot as possible (though I'm sure squeezing hard makes it a lot worse), but you're like right there. You've done a lot crazier things than ItO with many of your scores, just stay disciplined, optimistic, and don't accept long term failure (short term is necessary) if you really want it.
