Great review, love the larger vamp hiss and stinger. Highly recommend all three.

I hate Sears went under. Those wish books were what you looked for as a kid back then to get a idea of what you wanted for Christmas.

I think the U.S. Sears in the Midwest in the 1980s got these wish books too! Maybe some of the Sears stores were part of the Sears Canada corporation?

I remember Sears. Love looking at the ol Sears magazines back in the 80's.

Had a thought while you were paging through these. A Vamp, Flack, costs $14? Back then, $10 would fill a tank of gas. Now it's $56 for a 4door sedan. Makes those high priced 'adult collector' toys seem to not be as much as a price gouge.

SO many awesome memories as well as consumers distributing, just spending hours gazing over all the cool toys we wanted for Christmas, but I guess corporations don't care about the kids like they used to since they price out the toys so kids cant afford them now a days because they care more about investors profits instead of making mountains of toys like we used to have in the toy stores,

There is nothing more satsifying for a reader than to hold a magazine and listen to the paper for every page being turned

The Palitoy Death Star was only 20 bucks in that catalog. I don't have many vintage Star Wars stuff but I am looking to get a couple of mini rigs and cloud car pilots for my cloud car. Merry Christmas too.

WOW! So many memories in those. I still have my Consumers Distributing catalog from 1988, which is also full of great memories.

Noticed one thing how much product there was by Mego. Then only a few years later after the company went out of business nothing. Thanks for sharing all those beautiful toy sections of the catalogues.

Great video, Kevin! Those Canada exclusive variants are so cool! Crazy to me that the remote controlled Sand Crawler cost more than the Falcon back then. That cutting edge radio control technology I suppose! Happy Holidays!
@kilroywashere51310 күн бұрын
A friend of mine used to have that remote controlled Indy car the photo of is in one of those catalogues you showed, and I remember she-ra toy line, yet I was more into the cartoon based on it than the toy line, for obvious reasons, and my friend used to have some of those g.i.joe toys, but he sold what he had, and Jeff kept the mail order cobra commander he got in the mail, well what’s left of it though💁🏻♂.

Who wouldn't pay $14.99 for that Cobra Stinger exclusive? Someone needs to invent time travel.

Oh man that would be awesome 👏 and this year I am going to travel back in time and make a custom 😉 but not until mid summer I am thinking. But it is on my list.
