That was an amazing job you did on the ceiling and it looks great. I just bought a place with popcorn ceilings but I decided to embrace them rather than remove them. I imagined that scraping off the finish would only require painting but the idea of plastering everything is more than I could handle.

Looking forward to see what you do to your shed, I'd love to have such a great space for a woodworking shop. For an inexpensive flooring option, you could just paint the floor and then when it gets dinged up you can just touch it up. Can't wait for the next video!

Adding windows is a great idea. You don't want to feel as if you are in a dungeon when working on your projects. If the flooring is in good condition, install some inexpensive linoleum tile. It's going to be a great she-shed. ❤❤❤

It came out so good - you did a fantastic job. And that thing you thought had somethiing to do with a fireplace is actually a vintage umbrella holder - it' works perfectly in the entrance.

That stand that you thought was for fireplace utensils is actually an umbrella stand. Which belongs in an entryway. Perfect!

It is? Haha I thought so but the bottom part of it is open, like it didn’t have a base for the umbrellas to sit on so it completely threw me off! 😅

@@kimmijuma LOL. Most umbrellas have a point/staff on the end. So I don't think it needs a bottom. But it certainly is shaped like an umbrella stand. See what others say about it.

You did amazing job with the diy cabinet 🤯… Just a suggestion, you can use molding to divide the entryway wall so that you can make it an accent wall and really make it look like it’s own space 🤗

Baseboard is not the same wall color or paint. You need a semigloss for the baseboards

So I used the same wall color but you’re right on the sheen. I used an eggshell finish on the walls and semigloss on the baseboards 😊

The cabinets are not going to go flush against the wall with the baseboards on. You might want to take it off again

@@TerriSiler-hv8in I thought of this too but the ikea cabinets actually come with a little cut out at the bottom specifically for the baseboards so it actually sits flush to the wall! Should have mentioned this in the video as to not cause confusion. 😊

Fix it and paint it. Don't put it in the landfill. It's got a cute shape. Use it in the guest bedroom for a small TV or side table

@@TerriSiler-hv8in thanks for the suggestion! It’s actually still in my garage. I’ve decided to keep the parts! I’m posting part 2 of this today and I actually used MDF from an old bed frame to make the counter top. The extra shelves I used in this video were from that same old bed frame too! Not sure if i’ll try to fix it or use the parts for something else, there’s always a use for them and you’re absolutely right. I would hate for this to go in the landfill. Thanks for watching as well, it means a lot. 😊
