Your take on Stevie Nicks talent is as superficial as your magazine cut-out background. Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't their early albums titled Buckingham and Nicks? If it was all about Buckingham, well I'm sure he would've come up with a more non specific title as artists, but maybe she insisted that if she contributed equally, or possibly more so, she should be mentioned at least equally. Your simplistic misogynist opinion of facts you would have absolutely no idea about reeks of inadequacy. Where was Buckingham's solo career that matched Nicks post FM? Don't get me wrong Pat Benatar is an absolute legend that deserves hall of fame recognition. But don't dismiss other's because of your ignorant opinion. BTW my gf att in the 80s worked for a sponsor co. re. FM's Australian tour. We had BS passes & we met the band & Stevie. She was sweaty, stoned & gorgeous af. We spent well over an hour hanging, chatting & sharing some blunts I bought along... maybe I'm wrong, but I'm not out there whinging 🤔

Absolutely. They are definitely using pre-recorded keyboard tracks at the very least, and I suspect they're also using canned vocals as well. This was very apparent during Color My World, when neither keyboardist actually played the main theme.

I thought he was just a safe and competent guitar player until I saw him in his heyday absolutely shredding during the live performance of the Chain in 1982. Since then I've been blown away by his technique. Im a huge fan now.

2:40 you got that wrong. AC/DC opened for Moxy in '77. AC/DC was on their 1st tour and these were club gigs. AC/DC couldn't break though the U.S. market that was dominated by disco.

I would love to see him live again but I understand if it's just an album. This man had musical talent, not just singing. He can sing. He can write he can produce he can play instruments. Such a talent doesn't come along that often

Music for Dennis is his skill, occupation and passion. Rock and Roll is Tommy and JY's lifestyle. They were insanely jealous of Dennis' talent and vision. Babe going to #1 (basically a solo effort plus the twins) Todd Suchmerman's backstage video shows Tommy whining that Dennis treated the band like a business (his job). Also Tommy mocks Styx fans who like Babe and Come Sail Away using a dumb "redneck" voice.

I Go Crazy is arguably one of the most touching songs that Paul Davis ever wrote. He had an amazing singing voice, and he also had a couple of charting country singles too, including a duet he did in the eighties with Marie Osmond!

Regarding the ridiculous claims on here from Stevie's arse kissers that Kristen didn't receive abuse and that she shouldn't have 'mouthed off on Twitter so deserved what she got' - I've just checked out some of the posts on Twitter aimed at Kristen. She no longer even has an account yet she's still targeted. Many of the posts - and there are a lot of them, including fake profiles by sad little people pretending to be her - are really toxic. Kristen made two posts in response to her husband being fired from Fleetwood Mac. This is the man who worked tirelessly to get their music sounding the way it needed to, to line their pockets. They quite literally owe him everything. The first of Kristen's ppsts was really respectful, balanced, and appropriate. I've posted it several times on here in response to a Stevie nutter who thinks it's justifiable for all the abuse Kristens received. Secondly, on hearing what Mick Fleetwood said - about the band not being happy, as though none of them were, Kristen called Mick out on it. She quite rightly called him a coward - he is spineless. She asked again for a reason for Lindsey's sacking - because he still didn't know and hadn't been aware of anyone being unhappy. She said the band sucks and she hashtagged Stevie and Mick in on it. She's spot on. She had to deal with the stress and fallout from Stevie's toxic ultimatum first-hand every day - not like Stevie's childish nutters, who think it's okay coming back at her, getting personal with her, on Twitter. Shortly after, she had to sit at Lindsey's bedside because that stress contributed to a heart attack. And the crap is still going on - it's 2024. If Stevie had the problem, she was the one who should have left the band. So can the misguided bullying fans of the toxic b1tch witch now shut the **** up.

Stevie nicks is spoil brat. Your own mother and father say things about stevie when she was going to play with lindsey band in the late 60s. Every time I see stevie on tv she's always talking about lindsey this and lindsey that I don't think I ever heard lindsey say on tv abouts stevie nicks he does not care.

Growing up around Atlanta, we heard all the ARS hits. Occasionally on SXM, I’ve heard Back Up Against The Wall and Champagne Jam but that’s it other than the ones you mention. Two of my favorites except for Back Up Against The Wall are Outside Woman Blues which was a Cream cover, (done much better) and Doraville. They had so many great songs.

In addition to his work with Stealers Wheel and the Humblebums, I have found some great stuff with Rab Noakes. I also have really enjoyed his posthumous release Rest in Blue. "Still in Denial" deals head on with alcoholism and "It's Just the Motion" and the new version of "Stuck in the Middle with You" are very well done!

As a devoted listener to all of Gerry's music I have enjoyed reading the entries here. City to City captured me forever when it came out while I was in high school, but it took me a long time to realize that the songs told a complete, full circle story of the time when he was dealing with the aftermath of the break up of Stealers Wheel and a ban from recording. It goes something like this......The Ark is his anticipation of a peaceful vision of the future on the sea near his home. Baker Street snaps you back into the stressful period in London where life was a blur of alcohol in the day to day life of a busker and he realizes he has to escape to home in Oaisley in the last line. Obviously, Right Down the Line reveals the deep love and gratitude he feels for his partner through that time. City to City tells of his train trips from Glasgow to London and back to work and/or deal with legal issues, while Stealin' Time tells of how he escaped the stress of that time. On side 2 we get insight into his love for his child and the stress and reconciliation he went through with his partner in Mattie's Rag, Whatever's Written in Your Heart, Home and Dry, and Island. Finally closure comes with Waiting for the Day which seems to depict him waiting to return home to the peaceful life envisioned in The Ark after surviving his legal and music industry issues. The album is a deeply moving love story told through the music of a sensitive, gifted, and introverted master..... I may be off on some details, but the sweep of the album, no matter what, tells a beautiful story.

Sadly, Myles Goodwyn passed away Sunday 3rd December '23. 16 studio albums with multiple greatest hits and live recordings. Lots to choose from. Myles Goodwyn is one of the best Singer songwriters and guitarist from the Classic Rock Era, hands down. For true fans, he'll be greatly missed. My condolences to his family. (Not Friggit, Attitude) Attitude is a great Album. As of this fall, 2023,, they're still touring, with many of those dates in the states. Myles Goodwyn RIP
