Our unit did not have the slots in the cabinet for the side curtains. They did have a rail to be attached to the cabinet to slide the side curtains in however they didn’t provide screws for these rails for sure does not have their shit together if you guys want these units, you are an idiot.

Have the double tube version. Window gap is 35 inches. Had to use an angle grinder to cut one of the plates down to size. After that it worked perfectly. Super cool.

this is possibley one of the worst AC units i have ever purchased. It odesn't obey the commands from the digital switches. would be better off buy any Analogue device. Do not give this factory your business ever again.

AI forgot to mention that the unit has to be sloped downward slightly, (the outside of the unit has to be lower than the inside), so that the accumulated water will drain to the outside of the room.

Google Home works sometimes but mostly doesn't. Most of the time tapping the ON button won't do anything and a "Something went wrong" error message will pop up. Sometimes it'll turn on the AC but it won't turn it off, instead, the same error message pops up. I have to go to the ConnectLife app to turn it off.

This tutorial was semi-useful.. BUT echoing another commenter to emphasize that the WINDOW EXHAUST ADAPTER should be installed to the INNER part of the panel slider (according to the manual). If you install to the outer part (as shown in video) there will be gaps defeating the purpose of the air conditioner!

This product will not fit a 34” window without blocking a duct. You will need to trace and cut out a hole in the long inner panel. The inner 18” slide panel will not slide past the intake/exhaust shroud once installed.

@@axcman5749 nice. I started to go that route too as it seemed faster. But my unit is next to an exterior door and opening and closing make it move slightly with pressure. So I went the route to keep as much of it interlocked as possible and even drilled a few extra holes and added a few more rivets. I will be the first to admit I over engineer everything. Lol.

Edit/Update: I figured out what's going on, I made a reply to someone with the details. Though for some odd reason I got shadow banned. So if you don't see it. Sort the comments by New and it should be there. I don't know if I can get some help here, but despite of any or all troubleshooting methods (power cycle everything, turn off router firewall, successfully re-run the network steps). My AC remains to be "offline" on the connectlife app. While it's fully on, and my router sees the AC connected.

@@electronaut9858 I'm glad that you replied. So a few hours after my ordinal post. I saw that pinging from a PC see it cutting in and out. And then much later, while running. I got a small power outage. When the power got back on. I ping it again, and it was solid and connectlife was able to see it again. Though funny enough, I just back home from work today and see it just offline again, with the same pinging wonkiness . So I turn on the AC, and unplugged from the wall, leave it foe a few minutes. And repluged it back to the wall. I may have to give it a few attempts but if it worked last time. Can't hurt to do it again. I hope this may help you.

..and this makes a significant difference as the way it’s installed in the video leaves gaps between the panel and window exhaust adapter (which would completely defeat the purpose and performance). THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENT!

I got mine at Costco. Had an issue with install because extension sliders run into other parts too quickly. A saw may be needed to cut your slider to work. Anyway finally got it in using parts from another store…these things are too heavy to drag back to Costco. I recommend testing the window insert parts before hauling the rest of it up any stairs, because they really don’t work in all the window widths they say it does.

I have used this unit for a few weeks now and tested its power consumption and efficiency, I like it but wish they could improve a few things. I was looking for a hose adapter and called Hisense, they directed me to another company ‘Encompass’ that sells parts for them, those people said they have nothing to do with this unit and they could not explain why they didn’t have any parts for it. Called back Hisense to ask about parts again and they said if the unit needs repaired I would just bring it to costco for repair, the guy was also kinda rude and kept telling me the same thing over and over again. Anyway, I did find an adapted that will work for my setup. I have bought an ecoflow wave2 unit to use it in my van and it doesn’t have the ability to cool down air in my van when more than 80 degrees outside. Then I bought this unit and tested it and it did perform great cooling down my van space. Power consumption: This unit went up to 1000watts on max ac mode and the lowest that I saw was around 250watts on quiet-sleep mode. Depending on the ambient temperature and the temperature settings the unit will adapt trying to cool down your space, the thermostat will allow the unit to turn off by itself then back on when temperature rises. When the room temperature is let’s say 77 degrees and I set the temperature settings to around 74 degrees on low-quiet mode the unit will consume between 300 and 400 watts. Supposedly the unit has a dc-inverter which can reduce the power consumption and therefore make the unit more efficient for RV lifestyle. I plan to run this unit in my van from lithium lifepo4 batteries.
