Go to artfight.net and if you're using a browser, on the top right there should be text saying "Register," click that and fill out the information it asks for. Hope this helps!

@@akarticle8561 Hm I don't know if there's actually a user ID number, there are character ID numbers but I think for users it's just their username. You can click the clipboard next to them to copy the user or the character ID. Hope this helps

@@buhbyela hmm I'm assuming you've already found it, in which case it's just entering their ArtFight profile link or a social media link. If you haven't found it, it'll show up after selecting no when promoted the question "did you create this image" when uploading a new image. I hope this helps 👍

@@Pieslullaby External links lead to other sites, so if a character has more information or more reference photos on ToyHouse or UnVale, you can link it there. The profile has a similar feature with social media links. You can always leave these blank though. Hope this helps 👍

Yes, it does. Copyrighted characters and those that you do not own cannot actually be submitted as a character as per ArtFight rules. However, you could always draw him for your profile rather than as an attackable character!

For the first one; as far as I know that card is purely for fun. Most people post them, share them over discord, or add them to their profile to make it easier for others to decide whether or not they want to attack them. Second: since the card serves as an advertisement for yourself, it would be better to submit the same characters you include on the card. But it's up to you! Some people don't have any characters on the card. Hope this helps!!

@@StratusTheSkywing If you're able to, then yes! Once July starts, the site typically crashes so it'll be difficult to submit characters at all. Plus most people have a list of OCs that they want to attack by then. 👍

Recently I've been seeing a lot of people ask whether discord is really necessary, and honestly it's not. I don't remember having to verify my phone number at all, and (granted I'm not a tech bro) I don't really see why anyone should??? If you're joining for the help and community events, my only other suggestion would be if there's a reddit/forum out there?? (I see there's discussions on r/artistlounge) I'm so sorry about that though.

Ngl since I wrote and recorded this script I've definitely changed sides on my argument. And after seeing some comments arguing against my point that Cara is good for smaller artists- I definitely have to agree. I believe when I originally wrote it, I meant it more as "it's good for artists who aren't going into the industry/are trying to get into a company" but even that I don't agree with anymore. Part of my argument was also cause Cara was still new at the time, it's kinda expected that after it gets big that all the smaller artists get buried. I should've acknowledged that.

​@@luu_chay I actually thought it would be a good idea (as when I made the account then I hadn't watched any videos on it yet) so I went into it with a positive mindset of "not many people will be on here yet because it's still pretty new so maybe I'll get seen and I'll be able to start on a new platform yada yada" then I watched some videos, saw that comment from someone and then I was like "hmmm" 3-4 days later here we are and no engagement. just weird I dunno. I tried to find more information about it to know how the algo works etc, but (from what I've searched) maybe it is out there, but as far as I know then nothing has explicitly said what their algorithm is and how people will find other people. I also "slightly" think (I don't think everyone is selfish and I don't personally know any selfish artists) but I think being able to control the percentages of how much of your followers posts you see/how many other posts you see etc, could be used to an artists advantage where they don't support others and are just all in it for themselves, (maybe negative thinking but these days you never fully know others intentions and tbh its hard these days and a lot of ppl are just trying to make their dreams come true) I think it is a good concept but I don't think that people should be able to 100% control what they see on their feed. that honestly feels like other artists are in control of what the algorithm is instead of the app itself which rubs me a little bit the wrong way, if I would be relying on other artists to not turn some of the %s down to 0% or really low or what have you so that they don't see as many artists.

@@cheesypastel Dang, I wasn't even aware of the whole algorithm thing. I haven't been on Cara aside from the two things I posted there, but there was one time I saw something I wanted to check out in the recommended posts (or most recent, I'm not sure) but when I clicked it it took me to something completely different. I thought it was just being buggy since it's in beta. Idk if it's possible it's an algorithm thing, but if so then it's more reason to be skeptical. 👍
