perhaps next time.. do it with out the music. If your going to talk so quiet with a flat mono tone voice. Other then that a good video

There are 2 things I cannot stand inthis game. THeshipos look like planes too much.. immersion breaker. Second.. ships FIGHT like Bad WW1 planes.. also makes no sense... That leaves exploring as the good part of the game

This guide is not how the game started for me. I had no options for ship or system to start. Maybe it's an xbox one option thing... A beginners guide should be about how to maneuver and fly into space from system to system, not game strategy. Strategy does you no good if you cant fly or know how to use the controls and features.

I understand where you are coming from, but the game has had tutorials for all those things for awhile, at least as long as I've played, which has been a few years now. The new starting stuff was introduced a little over a year ago. If your an OG player, they might've not had them back then. I had a few friends get Elite within the past week and all 3 of them have already figured out those things with the basic tutorials, they didn't need any explanation of it. Getting better at flying in combat and in general takes a long time, and it isn't easily explainable since movement is subjective in this game. I can explain how to do the same thing multiple ways, and some people still won't get it. It's better to learn from experience than trying to follow a guide you only half understand!

Thanks for a great, clear and short beginners video. Been thinking about jumping in for a while, and having got a VR headset thought it was time. Knowing how in-depth and complicated this game can be (yes I played Elite on the C64!!!) I decided to seek out some videos, but most are so long and voiced with little enthusiasm I just didn't have the attention span, but yours was excellent and gave me all I needed to get started. :)

Nah when u first start go out to high security belts follow cops around shoot what there shooting once its almost dead keep doing that. Youll have 400-500k in about 30 mins then get a ship for exploring follow road to richs till u get a good mining ship then u can farm ice asteroid things for millions a hour so with 3-5 hrs have any ship u want
