Nice clean installation Sean and the bike sounds great. Do all the VAPE systems have the high rpm retard?

Are those new replacement carbs ( if so, where from ), or are they original?
@twintuned4 ай бұрын
They are VM26s carbs with RD350 intake manifolds, way too big for a stock engine. Youll need DT100 carbs and intake manifolds for a stock engine.

I'm sure this bike was nice too when you started. Quit ripping the thing wide open no one is impressed.

I had replied a really mean comment back to you, but established you are just a video game child who has no idea what hes even looking at. So instead, i just uploaded a video from some years back of me doing 100mph wide open at 12k rpm for over a mile straight, everyone who was there that day is clearly impressed in the video. It never was a bike because i built it from parts I gathered, the rest is hand made by me. Educate yourself on the process of building fast two strokes before you make an embarrassing comment like you did, because this is one of the fastest RD125s on the planet.

I finished it and then traded it for a mint atc200m. I have photos of the build on my Instagram. twintuned is my name on there. Takes a lot of frame modifications, but a very fun machine. Youll need a 520 front sprocket for the cb350 engine too.

Nothing confirmed. These pipes i hand built for a RD125 racer, technically too big for a LS2 but it revved out far and pulled hard to 10k. Notice there are no footpegs or rear mounts. Around spring the RD125 will be done. I have another video testing on it, that revs to 12k.
@HunterSkiff5 жыл бұрын
Interesting. Any recommendations for expansion pipes for LS2 100, aside from making some yourself? My limited research doesn’t yield anything. Even looking for chambers to weld on stock headers, nothing
@twintuned5 жыл бұрын
@@HunterSkiff Be careful what you use. A lot of moped pipes are built very wrong. For a stock porting LS2 to make peak power at 10,000rpm youd want a pipe thats 800mm total length, from the flange to the tip of the stinger. Its possible to find something close enough, but making them work for stock footpegs isnt easy, and mounting them off the stock swingarm pivot is a stretch. Regardless, your only options require extensive welding. For the ideal pipe, the header is 260mm long, then opens up to a 77mm belly inner diameter. 193mm long stinger with a 14mm ID. The clutch will slip with good pipes, RD350 barnett springs and Yamaha XT225 plates are the upgrade. If you search Yamaha LS2 GYT Special youll find the LS2 Special port map, modified cylinder head compression, and pipe specs. The better upgrade is to put RD125 cylinder studs in, and use an entire RD125 top end like i have done (in my other video). Port that with pipes and it makes 24hp. The racing bike yamaha TA125 uses a LS2/RD125 bottom end.

If you're going to build an old Suzuki, use the M15. The K11 has more stroke than bore and is a pain to make fast. The M15 also can take moped big bore kits, just have to do the homework to see what fits. I currently have a CDI, RD60 cylinder head, different pipe, and VM22 and rearsets since this video. Working on converting a B105p trans into it as well, fourth gear is garbage. Check out Treatland.tv for parts.

My 1964 M12 S could never handle a 500 metre circuit as it's top speed was close to 70 mph and I nearly wiped out a few times trying it out on a Velo Cycling track. My time around a 1.803 mile motor-racing road circuit was 2 min. 11 secs. as opposed to the Ford GT F70 prototype which went around in 1 min. 20 secs. it's top speed at over 150 mph at the end of the straight. owen_mshengu_sharif
