Nice video. I like to have the tube to be a bit longer to the handle so that when it shrinks it covers the shoulder and ends, give a better look but also secures the tubing against slipping. I also use a color code for various thickness of picks and tension tools. Red/White/Blue thin, thicker, thickest. If I have tension tools even larger like Heavy Bars and Heavy Heavy Bars then I use yellow and black. So Red/White/Blue/Yellow/Black.

That's an impressive collection. No fillers, all gorgeous locks.

I yesterday cut it open with a hand saw in literally just one minute.

I have a lock I bought at U-Haul with U-Haul on the body,but it has 85/40 on the body as well.So I suspect it's made by Abuse. I also have an M1911a1 45cal pistol.This coming spring,the lock is to be executed.In 2 years,I've been able to pick it only 3 times.Yet,I have expensive Kirk security locks with 7 pins,American locks,Master key locks,Master combo locks and Master wall locker fit locks with combo and pass key access.I have picked all of them except the 85 40 MANY times. But that bastard 85/40 gives me fits.My patience goes only so far.Its limit is now reached,and my 45 will give me satisfaction in sending the bastard to hell come spring.

Do you have any idea how to take the thumbturn side apart?

Apologies if I missed it, but what width/size are the tubes you're using? They seem perfect. Very good idea. I like the bare picks, but they do hurt your hands after a while.

I have one of these with the same lock body only it says assa abloy under trioving. Are they both the same? Haven't found much info on it

Although it has ten pins I would call it a five pinner as we usually reference the number of pin stacks unless they are pin in pin. A great lock those.

i've got this cylinder and it dropped the back bit that opens the mec. of the door... any suggestions on how to remove the barrel from the front? p.s. i dont care if i have to destroy the lock i will replace it anyway!

Nice "mountain range" bidding on that key, when they're aggressive like that I know I'm in for a real challenge...but then again I'm a learner-nooby. Great lock pick 7 mins 17 secs on what was tantamount and indicative to a ball-ache...difficult lock.

Your rubber vice jaw was pushing on the control lug, giving you tension on the control line and not the operating line. Make sure nothing is pushing on that control lug down the left side.

Good job, I have one of these and have not been able to pick it. The bitting on mine is insanely difficult. I wonder why all lock manufacturers don't use a keyway like this one. But I'm glad they don't because then I'd have given up picking a long time ago.

Why were you float picking when there were no countermilling?

Is it for lock pick or spin the error lock?

I just bought some Sparrow picks, The Monstrum, and the picks had a textured dip. Not bad at all. But this may have a better feel.
