I appreciate Boyd's willingness to answer questions. I'm a fan of both major trails and support the anglers. Growing pains and change have certainly hurt the BPT. It is still relevant and imo stacks the best anglers of the 2 leagues, but not by much anymore. My biggest issue with Boyd and the others in charge is that when the anglers took the chance/opportunity to leave BASS in hopes of starting something that would be better, these anglers were led to believe that their job or spot was secure unless the league failed. In defense of Watson and others, when the new to cut the field came down it was devastating to many of the veterans that helped make the BPT relevant from day 1. My opinion doesn't carry any weight, but from where I stand it would seem that the loyalty displayed by said anglers wasn't appreciated or reciprocated from Boyd or anyone else who helped make the decision to cut the fields numbers down to 50. It leaves the veterans affected with very little choice as to what's next for their careers. My loyalty to others has never made me rich; however it does help me sleep at night.

#FBD. If Duckett didn’t make himself inside the top 50 he would be fishing the quals again and most likely would be in the B league indefinitely. Dude is a joke. Let’s have Watson and some of the other guys he decided to cut on the show and hear the real truth without a fine to impose.

This jackwagon and his pals thought they were going to take BASS down. The televised product is worse now than in 2010. They only have themselves to blame. The cardigan sweater wearing bearded studio MC and Marty"what do I do with my hands" Stone are painful to watch. A product in decline is what the public sees. So... Two "boaters" put 4 people's lives at stake by crashing their boats due to excessive speed - IN A NO-WAKE ZONE, and they get suspended until the end of the season. Another angler hurts the delicate "feel-bad's" and the over-inflated ego of the organization's head honcho and.........GETS SUSPENDED FOR TWO YEARS!!! Uhmmmm.... Is it just me or is something rotten in Denmark? Asking for a friend. Changes need to be made, or MLF will be going the way of the Dodo bird. That is if it's not already gasping its last few dying breaths.

Need a podcast explaining how Boyd has never been inside top 70 yet will find a way to still be fishing in 2025.
