When I was in Devon may 2021 we stayed in the chalet Aparthotel because the hotel was not open and in the beach shop they had the best kitkat ever the COOKIE DOUGH ONE

@XteamMAB That is fantastic ! I agree with with both 👍 I've stayed in the apartment part of the hotel and was impressed with the size. However the balcony looked over the side into the car park exit instead of the awesome view down the beach ! It's a great location 👌

The Grills restaurants are on deck 11 as you rightly say , but grills accommodation is spread over several decks and locations to suit individual choice👍😁

Thanks for your comment 👍 there is shelf storage above the bed for electrical items and personal effects plus the entire area beneath the bed for cases, bags and shoes. Hope that helps

Thank you Cleare , I just checked - the hotel is open definitely but you'd have to enquire for boat charter. This was filmed last year before covid restrictions started. I can thoroughly recommend the hotel and a picnic on the Thames ! Happy and safe travels ! Matt

Hello Kevin , yes they do 👍 as soon as you finish any particular bottle , it's replaced with a new one 😁👌

@@gsxlad Matt, thank you. Always done short trips with two bottles of spirits. Last trip we did get through one bottle and it was replaced, but was never sure about the wine. So will get a bottle of white and bottle of gin.

With the older, Mark 3 Sleeper trains your class of travel was decided by the number of berths in your Sleeping Compartment - one for First and two for Standard. Now it's determined by whether or not your "Room" (sic) is - or is not - en suite. Personally I think that a wash basin with plenty of hot and cold running water is perfectly adequate for my needs and I've always used the showers at London Euston and Edinburgh Waverley either before or after my journey. Now, if I want to access the First Class lounges at either end of my Sleeper journey I've got to pay the earth for a so-called "Club Room" containing a combined toilet and shower that I don't want and probably won't use!

That's fantastic Tony, you will enjoy Britannia Club as it is very, very close to The Grills experience. I can say from experience that you won't be disappointed. Its only the physical space in the cabins and other little extras that differentiate Club from Grills, the dining room experience is very similar. Happy sailing !

Pleasure ! I hope you enjoy your trip , it is a beautiful ship and they look after you very well. Just sailed on Silversea (video to follow) and they are excellent too. We are back on Queen Victoria in 2015 too , looking forward to the Queens Grill again :0)

The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of pillow choices. The bathrroms are all spacious but the suites at the rear of the ship can have a little vibration with cabin trimmings. We stayed in a Q4 also Midships which suffer less from this problem. However nothing as menial can detract from the exquisite and unique Grills experience. You will not find another company to rival it unless you try Silversea.
