Thanks for all your informative tutorials Adam. Cordova is still alive (and very much kicking). I've tried to get my head around native Android and IOS coding - and found it a pretty uphill task (getting too damned old to learn new syntax rules and the like). Having to reach a basic level of competence in both is a challenge to say the least. However, I'm pretty fluent in HTML, CSS and Javascript and support for these languages is immense. With Cordova, I'm able to concentrate on what I know best and get my stuff onto both Android and IOS platforms with little (or no) problems. Cordova is still adapting to the newer versions of these operating systems, so an awful lot of heavy lifting is done by the package. This is great and there is also an enthusiastic community that fully justifies its existence. Once the build programs, sdk's and environment variables are set up, any half-decent editor is all you need to generate the web code (I use Visual Studio Code - which is free and easy to use). I avoid Android Studio like the plague - I simply run my web code locally on a browser of my choice to see how it performs. I package the web code via Cordova, transfer it to my target phone, install it and see how it looks there. Probably not the most elegant of solutions, but 99% of the graft is concerned with how the code performs in a browser - that last step onto a phone is only required when I check the final builds.

Bonjour Adam, I wondered if you have seen Affinity photo editing, graphic design and page layout software? It appears to be similar almost identical to what Dream Weaver & Fireworks did. Can you do an appraisal if poss. I would do it but I am a novice; going to go back on your old video tutorials to build a website.
