One Handed Energy Weapon Main with Melee backup! Its even worse than you feared

100% 😂 But sidenote, I spent the first 2 years of 76 playing using a stealth build, Chinese stealth armor, suppressed weapons, unforgiving melee one-shots on event bosses. But when they added the expeditions, (right after giving a nice handful of new unique legendary melee weapons and a new Unique legendary combat rifle and shotgun with the Brotherhood of steel expansion) suddenly all my guns, all my perk cards, my perfectly functional in both endgame PVE and PVP, became absolutely fucking useless and unplayable, enemies suddenly spawn in massive numbers and take no damage from anything other than heavy weapons and those green flamethrowers. I think it is perfectly valid for the people that struggle like this to be upset and even pissed off, cuz I am. Every new update, every new season of content, I'm level 250, it's not easy to unlock and level up new cards. I now have a fully built character that I've put 939 hours of my life into, and I can't play the game anymore. It's genuinely fucking sad that Bethesda never addresses this issue. I can run around Appalachia with all my maxed out stuff and every fucking event, every mission, every daily operation, I'm either getting killed over and over again by cryptids and their minions, or I'm spending 100s of rounds of ammo out of my Furious mutants handmade that has explosive rounds (7 active mutations by the way) just to progressively take increasingly larger tiny chunks off of a single enemy's health bar while everyone else casually throws corpses across the ground in waves just killing everything instantly and then the event ends and I don't get any gear from dead legendary enemies or really any enemies at all, just the event reward which always sucks worse than a hooker with Parkinsons having a seizure. That's my rant because the new map expansion just came out and I'm Really genuinely looking forward to subscribing to fallout 1st for $20 a month so that i don't get planted like a tree with 9999 carry weight after I craft one thing and acquire the entire contents of my scrapbox, all so that I can run around the new area, build a camp there, attempt the new quests and events, functionally contribute the equivalent value of a molerat tooth, get almost no reward for all my wasted time, and give up on the game all over again by the time Shadow of the Erdtree comes out. Unless Bethesda actually does something productive and Revalidates all the time and effort people put into the game making characters that were working fine until they decided to tell us all that time and dedication we put into playing their game was more worthless than that same Parkinsons hooker from earlier's two-for-one special cuz all you get is she Overdoses in your kitchen two times on Christmas eve instead of just one

I haven't played the game in a very long time, I've been playing fallout 4 whenever I feel like fallout ever since they ruined 76. I'm just really upset that they won't fix the problem cuz fallout truly is my favorite game series

@nemonkulus I don't mean to sound so aggressive sorry about that, I wasn't trying to be negative towards your comment I was literally stating that I hadn't even considered the inability to convey sarcasm 😅 I'm not a mean person I just want them to fix 76 😂 Elder Scrolls Online is fully live service and they use the players feedback when doing things and improving the general Quality of Life within its massive world. I know that it's a whole different team of people working on 76 and theyre probably in a different city than the people doing all the stuff for ESO. I just would like to see a little bit more care put into the wellbeing of Fallout 76's player community. The series is embedded into the hearts of alot of gamers and with the current state of 76 it feels like alot of that has been forgotten in pursuit of keeping the veteran players from getting bored and stopping playing, less streams, less popular content creators trolling, less publicity about their game. all they do is add stuff to the game and release patches that do one of 3 things: 1. fix bugged quest/event issues 2. Remove Legacy weapon entirely, wiping them from the inventories of players like me (RIP to my furious two shot explosive handmade) even though the damage output was still a fraction of what heavy and flamethrowers do. Noone cares about this opinion, it's depressing playing a game and feeling completely and utterly abandoned by the developer while they make the game glorious for a select group of players using one or two specific playstyles If I had to summarize fallout 76 with one lore-bound statement it would be this. The rebuilding of America has failed, and communism has infiltrated the very core of all factions. My true feelings are that unless Bethesda makes Fallout 76 actually playable for ALL Kinds of Vault Dwellers, not just the Brotherhood Knight aspirants and others who require the highest possible armor rating to survive in a world that even the poorly armed but well led Children in Little lamplight survived in. It's a disgrace to all other installments. Bethesda, I love them, but when it comes to Fallout 76, my faith is shattered. Because I haven't been able to survive in-game for years, I can't level up if I can't complete anything and earn the ridiculous amount of XP And I refuse to be a clunky loud stompy power armor goof because I have never played a Fallout game that way, I like the finesse, the sneaking, I play all my RPGs in that manner. If you care about some strangers opinion enough and made it to here, I hope you agree with me, and you're also a real OG badass motherfucker because you're not lazy you put in that eye work reading a bunch of bullshit from random people who think kinda like you do. But anyways. I'm going back to my familiar subtle loneliness in the world of gaming 🙂‍↕️
