Perhaps only poetry can do the Subway justice. We completed it last year after one prior attempt where we had begun too late in the day. In Zion's heart, where nature's fingers trace, A subway's hidden beauty finds its place. Through caverns deep, where shadows softly play, A symphony of light dances its way. Beneath the earth, a silent world unfolds, Where time has carved its tales in stone, untold. Water whispers secrets, ancient and wise, As hikers wander under azure skies. In every crevice, life finds a way, Moss-covered walls in shades of green array. Above, a canopy of stars so bright, Guides the weary through the tunnel's light. Emerald pools reflect the canyon's grace, A mirrored world where dreams and visions chase. With every step, a new enchantment found, In Zion's subway, where wonders abound. So let us tread where nature's wonders meet, And lose ourselves in beauty so complete. For in the subway's depths, we come alive, In Zion's embrace, our spirits thrive. Credit: Chat GPT LOL

LEAVE THE FUCKING CAIRNS ALONE!!!!!!!!! cairn def. 1. a mound of rough stones built as a memorial or landmark, typically on a hilltop or skyline. STACKED ROCKS ARE TRAIL MARKERS !!! JESUS CHRIST P.S. I've summitted Dragon's Tail once and Mt. Reynolds 14 times. walked Hidden Lake's shoreline over 60 times. i've put in over 4000 trail miles in 35 years i know the area and i understand hiker/climber etiquette YOU DON'T!!

Bravissimo! A beautifully produced work. You captured the wonder that is Ape Cave quite deftly. I "hiked" the upper section back in 2001. Definitely one of the coolest things that I've ever done. Still have very strong and fond memories of the adventure. Truly exhilarating.
