man brother this game been lagging or there is lag delay for over a decade now. if you dont live close to server its very hard to pvp even combo sometimes. i learn this the hardway and broke many keyboard due to frustrations in my younger days. ty for covering this game from childhood

they totally ruined this game. this game is the game of my childhood. It was called 2 Moons back then. Aloken was the newest class. Being around 90 level was extremely Op. Unique pvp and pk experience was present. Now, I just googled it after a long time. It is some messed up thing right now. I guess it operates as an android mobile phone game or something.. It's crazy how such a good game has been destroyed..

I miss this game sooo much. I loved how back then it was all pure strategy. People would build a stun teams. So if you didn’t have a monk in your team in pvp you pretty much lost every time. Then it turned into a might race. The most might you have the easier you win. Such a shame. I grew up playing this game.

Its still holds up in console but unfortunately not many people play pvp often and it needs more new content. I really hope the devs fix this game better.

In case you don't know, Throne and Liberty Korean server announced that KR version will now be the main server for SEA region and some specific countries. You don't need Korean ID if you register on the countries that are listed. (Register using connect steam because registration is very buggy atm cuz it wont properly detect your country.) So, the Korean version is now the main server for SEA players instead of Amazon which has Japan server but blocked the rest of the SEA region on steam.

I’ve been playing since 2002. This game has the most unique adrenaline packed pvp and equipment upgrading systems. The progression curves are very rewarding to both casuals and hardcore players. 10/10 recommend this game for someone looking for a free to play mmo with a very tight knit community.

I played it a lot in the past years, though I was determined not to spend a single penny on it! By the time you grind what you need, the game updates and everything is just useless. Not to talk about the coninuous changing in equipment, enchantment, classes, ability tree, system. It happened to me three times that I had to respec and restart from almost zero, cause the game changed the system. You spend 6 months grinding, then out of nowhere Booom, it's useless. I was in a guild where people actually spent a lot, though I do not agree and see the ludopathy behind this, I feel they when they all found themselves nerfed by the updates. The mechanics of this game are pure ludopathy. The game itself is good, but it is not worth it, since the gargantuan gatekeeping issue and since it's a game who has been dying for at least 8 years by now. The queues are everlastig, nobody actually enjoy playing the game as it is, doing a dungeon, they just keep running to the end, skipping everything and mocking you if you make them wasting their time. Nobody explains the dungeon mechanics, or other quests mechanincs unless you enter in some guild. It' s garbage, if you want to play and enjoy the game, play alone as naïve as it could sound. Don't fall for the p2w, remember it's just a game, don't waste your money on it.

INIX Soft and Joymax are prime examples of how games with unlimited potential can be driven to the wall by - to put it mildly - "grotty management and greed". I played Kal Online for about 14 years with friends and really enjoyed it despite (!) the administration, until banhammers were thrown out due to their own mistakes, which were their own fault and could not be circumvented by players. Later updates that took years, with only a few mobs being recoloured; poorly designed maps and dungeons; limitless mass-killing sessions with the press of a button; failed balances; new classes that sent the poor balance through the roof once again; a pet design that looks more like wallpaper on the wall than a pet... It was the right decision to quit. :) Kal Online in its Prime will unfortunately no longer be available on the international server.

Please do not make reviews of these games without playing for a while. First levels of this game is a bit boring bit not so many skills to use. As things progress(especially after 40) things become so fluent and fun.

Appreciate your video! A few things: 1. Yeah, NGS has always had presets. 2. People have ALWAYS hung out in the lobbies, ever since the original PSO, to PSU, to PSP, etc. 3. The enemies you thought were new aren’t. They’re ALTERS. They’ve been in the game since the beginning. 4. The “Ruine” monsters you said were just “turned black” actually behave a bit differently than their Falspawn counterparts from base PSO2. Their difference is literally explained in the story right before though fight the one you just fought. 5. Also to the point of reused monsters, NGS has more unique monsters than reused ones. Way more. And most monsters that are brought back have differences. Devs only brought back more enemies from base PSO2 ‘cause we kept asking for them.

old day1 veteran player here since 2012, i quit like after WP say they will no longer update the game which mean is basically dead after Wonderland Update. Basically if you want to play the game, yes is playable but you wont be able to enjoy end game content or hit a wall where you cant gear your char with better equipment due to lack of active player. As there are no active raid for dungeon that drop gear/token. And there are only hand full of active player that have multiple alt acc lol so basically is the same group of people that still play
