I put a furry tech brushless set up in mine with the 11 tooth pinion gear. It gave it such awesome slow controllable crawl…. And it also made it just as fast as a stock Traxxas slash😂. May have to throw in a vxl3s for science

Which killswitch are you using and how did you program it in your dx5c? I have the same transmitter and I installed the dynamic killswitch. I'm not sure if programmed it correct on my transmitter.

In my opinion, arma is faster. Traxxis just handles bashing better. Not a significant difference but noticeable. I personally like my arma better but it's apples to oranges. My arma has longer control arms where as the traxxis has slightly shortly control arms but seems thicker.

It's all the car 😆 They are both great for that. Mojave will take a beating better, with more speed and size. If you have the space, I'd go mojave. But either way you won't be disappointed. Thanks!

Just a friendly FYI, it's pronounced savoy, not savox. I love the killswitch! If you really want to wake that stock engine up on the low end, get the jug ported. I would recommend Gordy at west coast saw.

What do you think of the DBXL 2.0 ?? been dabbling with the idea of one ?? as I mentioned before you pretty much have the same as me in terms of other RC's (SBR2 is awesome eh ?) :D Also wondering - with some mods could the 5t body fit on the DBXL ? I know wheelbase/track is a bit different but I have the means to make "mods" here?

The HPI Savage X SS was my first nitro and is still my favorite. I"ve ran it into so many things at full speed and it has not broken anything. Built it probably 14 years ago

I have a 5t 2.0, just like you I also have a SBR2.0 as well, I also have a UDR and a Slash, I can honestly say I really enjoy driving all of them for different reasons, but man the 5t is just .........IDK, that little extra I guess ?

Yes they don't include a radio and tx. I can understand that its a high level RC so most have what they want to use or would not use the included low end radio. And would also bump the price up if they included one. But you can find a dx5c for next to nothing used. Or a used 5T with everything already for cheaper.
