Nothing about eco worthy is worth it. After experiencing many failures I have learned. Maybe others will have better luck. I have more brains than money and I can’t afford to throw it away.

I have the US one. My space heater output 180w on the Ecoflow. The S200 only output 112w and I can feel it is weaker and less warm.

Thanks for watching. Cant fault Allpower customer service. Since uploading this video my S200 stopped working for no reason just completely dead. I contacted Allpowers and without any questions they sent a replacement together with a free small solar power brick Said on the box 50,000ma. As you probably know these small bricks are never anywhere near what they claim. this one charged my phone 3 times so probably 12000ma at most. Solar panel on it is useless. But it was free. The replacement S200 is working fine but also arrived with a empty battery !! I now use Ecoflow Delta 2 and a Delta Mini.

Can it be used with pop top
@captainskyleader99382 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for watching. No I wouldn't think so. The mounts use the inserts on the Elgrand's roof and the cross bars are only 25mm from the roof top Luckily the Elgrand's sun roof drops down and inside the roof so clearance is no problem for me. A pop top adds extra hight the the van

Thank you so much for this simple informative presentation. Cleverly constructed presentation without unnecessary talk about something... Do you know if 200A max means battery capacity or consumption/charge value
@captainskyleader99389 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for your comments. The 200 Amp is the max the screen will display. The battery capacity is set in the setting mode. You set it to match your battery's capacity and it's fully charged voltage, [mine is 105ah and 13.2v] with these two values the unit can calculate the % of charge. Remember If you are drawing 200amp the cables to handle that current have to go through the hall senser. Also the cable Charging the battery has to go through. This might be a problem because the diameter of the hole in the Hall Senser is only 2cm I had to get solar cable and DC/DC Charging , Inverter supply and fuse box feed. 4 cables in total.... Good luck
@asterixtug9 ай бұрын
Hi, while searching for information on this topic I found the possibility to install a hall sensor also on the negative wire, but it is installed with an arrow in the other direction than on the positive cable. Often there are not several negative wires and the installation is easier.

Just bought one..the instructions are rubbish, the touch screen is about as sensitive as Hitler and it thinks I have a 12v battery instead of 48v....I'm sure if I played around long enough I might be able to fathom out what is going on, but clear instructions would have saved all that !!
@charlesbuchter565210 ай бұрын
You're too generous .... the whole thing is rubbish: Problem 1: The Hall diameter is too small. You can get one 1/0 battery to inverter wire wire through the loop at that's it. No room for the charging wire too. Problem 2: The Hall sensor power wire is too short. You better have the battery + & - terminals equidistant to the sensor, or one of them won't reach. Problem 3: The monitor has connections that terminate on the side, so you need to have a thin panel to mount it in and the mounting hardware requires access from the back of the panel to work. Problem 4: The manual is literally written in reverse order. For example, on page 3 for wiring, it says that you'll see blue and green flashing lights if successful, but you have to go to page 4 where it says how to turn on the monitor. Then it isn't until page 7 till you see "Settings before first use".

Not sure if you can help. I cant get my battery capacity to show. Where yours show the amount of ah (105ah) mine shows Mah and the figure keeps changing despite me entering my battery capacity on the parameters screen. Did you have this issue or not? Thanks!
@captainskyleader9938 Жыл бұрын
Hi to answer your question. First on the parameter page enter battery capacity, in my case 105ah. Yours my be different. Next enter the fully charged voltage, in my case 13.3 volts. Lastly enter the discharged voltage mine is 10.5 volts to be safe. Check these voltages with your battery manufacturer if your not sure. With these 3 data installed the chip can calculate the % left in battery. Example if it sees 13.3volts it knows 100% charged and if it sees 10.5 volts it knows 0%. So also works out the % between the to voltages. Half way between the two would be 50% and so on. Hope this makes sense and helps. Let me know if you are successful.

Thanks for posting - you think this would work on multiple batteries in parallel ? (great demo of power going in and out)
@captainskyleader9938 Жыл бұрын
hi, and thanks for your comments. The Maximum display current of this device is 200amps, so if the draw from your batteries is less than that then 200amps it will be fine. It would still work but wouldn't display higher than 200amps. My only problem as you can see from the video is the dia. of the Hall sensor. It's only 2cm and all your POSITIVE cables TO AND FROM the batteries need to go through it. The charging cables from DC to DC charger, Solar panels, Inverter, Fuse box, etc. In My Case, 4 cables made it a tight fit. Hope this helps, Mine is working fine. Good luck

@@captainskyleader9938 Thanks for your good answer👍😀, I will try to find a solution for a 2cm hole, maybe a shaped cable with a shoe soldered together and wires or one thick wire to connect all the wires on one side of the cable to the shoe and continue with this wire for the battery. Must try..

thats pretty much what i did, i just bought a black lenovo 9 inch mini tablet and used a few small piece's of valcro and tacked it on top, it blends in nicely, then i just bluetooth it to my head unit , it works great.....then when you to use the reverse cam just take it off, yeah its not convenient but the pros out weigh it..

Thanks for your comments. Since that video was uploaded 2 years ago I've fitted a Dashcam / rear-view mirror. I'm sure you know what I mean. Fitted the rear camera in a shark fin type housing on the top of the rear door so I get a good rear-view mirror image all the time. Auto records both front and rear cameras on start-up. voice activated. so with that in place, I don't miss the inbuilt camera.

Is this set up for a roof top tent or will you need to drill the racks in and what's the maximum weight capacity for the roof?
@captainskyleader9938 Жыл бұрын
Hi SL. This was set up just so l could mount a awning to the side of the van without drilling any holes in the bodywork. Ive only used 4 mounting points but there are 6 in total.if u were to put a tent up there l would use the other 2 central ones. I have, since making the video mounted a solar panel on the unistrut. It leaves about 30mm of air clearence below the panel which keeps it cool. Sticking them to the roof is not a good idea. They work better when cool. It also alows me to adjust the angle. As for the roof's capacity not sure. Cant find anything on Google. Sorry. Video of solar panel fixing coming soon.😊

This is a great solution if you dont want the tablet obstructing your view up on dash or windscreen or obstructing dash controls using cd slot tablet holders, just pop off to alter temp controls and pop back on, easy peasy and one of the best solutions i think!
