Hey, I want to know your opinion about static buildup in rubber and plastic containers through friction and vibration of the media inside, which can create a spark and explode if you are milling blackpowder, which I'm very concerned about.
@sb_creates2722 күн бұрын
@@wampipti349 I’ve milled a lot of it in the sun in those plastic containers with marbles as media (I then switched to lead allow) and have never had a problem but I would never suggest it. This is not a hobby I do anymore because it is honestly very scary and unhealthy

where did you buy this rubber container? i want to build one by myself too!!!
@sb_creates27Ай бұрын
It came with a chicago electric ball mill i got at Harbor Freight. You can use any other cylindrical container and put a bolt through the lid that the motor chuck can grab onto. Just make sure the container and milling media are materials that don't spark of course

If and when yhe time ever comes, there's people making videos sayin to dtop heavy ropes and cables but I don't see that working. What i do see working is light vto medium fishing line. Id say 3-10 pound test will be best . Just leave it laying loosle8 bunched all over the place that you want to catch and dismantle them. You ever step in even a small rats nest of old fishing line will trip you up. The very thin almost useless copper wire that wraps around transformers will work great too.
