I remember listening to tape recording of events with show runners from early seventies, eighties shows way way way back when. It would be great if you could upload some of them. "What for? They're old shows" but they keep popping up everywhere, like the Steven Bochco or David Kelly series - I even remember listening to an event with the writers of Columbo that was very incisive on- among other things - collaboration.

All I want is a Nancy Meyers interview where she talks about her art and her creative process. All I got with this video is these 2 annoying interviewers that won’t let the artist speak!!!

Nice to know I'm not the only writer who thinks screenwriting is not very important or vital. It's a decent form of writing when we'll done but generally inferior to novels and short stories and even plays.

Good questions. Thank you. Reading between the lines (~11:15), the DISCIPLINE that was imposed on this writer's mind and writing habits from the Black Watch is important. IMHO his comment (~37:56) on including annotations (factual references) in the script to source material presented in docudramas of that era is interesting and important. (When did you last put a factual annotation in one of your scripts?) `

Mr. Marshall passed away after a stroke at the age of eighty-one on 19 July 2016. Fascinating to hear his experiences. It seems as if he learned from each person who he collaborated with. By his own admission he had good luck along the way. RIP GM. (BTW: excellent Qs by Ms. Barbara Corday, the interviewer, who let GM tell his own story. Thank you).

I'm late to the game on this post but I'll start on Monday. I think well in the bathroom so can you chat with me through the door? What about a sketch about a dad who solves problems through the bathroom door. Then you can have Biden come and ask questions through the door. Biden: Dan... Dan... *Dan still sitting on the toilet. Dan: Who is this? How did you get into our house we live 3 stories up? Biden: I just have a few questions. First: This is Biden. *Biden looks at sweaty notes on hand. First, I'm trying my "breast" with my final moments in office. I'm sick and tired of not being the cool guy. So I'm thinking of having a party, how do you feel about an ice cream bar. I was going to have some of my new friends I've made help serve. *Hispanic man enters the picture .... we can go from there

Princess Diana was a strong female leader in her quiet way because she spoke truth to power, and paid a high price because of it. It is why America loved her more than her native Great Britain and grieved her death in such an unabashedly emotional manner.
