Reminds me of Christmas 1975 when i was 11 , i had a cassette recorder for a present and this was one of the first songs i recorded off the radio, not realising the depth of the lyrics 😐

When listening to lyrics as a kid,i swore it was Sole Survivor.

This track reminds me of a pub i used to go to, and which had a VERY vocal guard dog. It would bark at anyone and everything it saw or heard, in fact i think there was two of them first of all but presently i got to know they only had one. As i say it used to bark it's head off at everything, and sometimes when the mood was on it, it would even come into the bar. I, having had a few drinks went to stroke it...and it never raised a sound, never mind a tooth to bite me. In fact after i'd fed it some crisps it licked me in the end. The thing was unfortunately poisoned in the end and the put got a new dog which hardly woofed at all.

The year this was released I was only 6 and I became hooked on Mike Oldfileds music, and still now at the age of 55 going on 56 still like it.
