I am about to do this but I have heard of error codes afterwards, will this process keep me from getting error codes. Did you leave the car in accessory mode the whole time? Thanks

When I did it I didn't leave the key on. And I didn't have any lights on afterwards. I hope it helps you.

Thanks for the feedback. I tried it on the oil change light. The service light is different, for that you'd need a scan tool.

You have to have the vehicle running with the vehicle in park

The way I do it it's Key on engine off. In this case press the start button without stepping on the brake.

Unless I can see the yellow oil reset light BEFORE you start I doubt this really works. Keep it simple and show the light BEFORE

@@juanderifdioneed-o Sorry pal but I did pay close atttention and watched the video multiple times and carefully copied the instructions before I went to my auto.Once I found that the original instructions were not working I tried many times using small variations in time and pressure and still no joy. At least it worked for you I guess

@@catsinflames4598I'm sorry to hear that. This procedure is only for the oil change indicator, the service reminder is different and you'd need a scanner to reset it.
