There are about 6 different versions of this TV special. Some end earlier than others, some have the good uninterrupted start of "Twist & Shout", and a lot of them do NOT include "I Wanna Be Your Man" or the ending song "Shout". Definitely some double tracking going on here. Listen to "Cant Buy Me Love" at 5:23. After John screams, you can hear two distinct George solos going on. The beginning is way off and one track catches up with the other before the solo ends but even then you can hear double strings happening. Please, no theories that John and George both played the solo at the same time and that's what we are hearing. I assumed this was all live but It may have been recorded earlier and then they'd play and sing over the prerecorded tracks. The medley Paul talks about switches from song to song very quickly and at unnatural areas and when the songs do switch, watch Paul's and George's mouths and you can see that they have forgotten where they were supposed to stop with one song and where to begin with the next one. To hard to pull that off live. With the double guitars and this obvious lip syncing, I'm temped not to include this as a true live performance. What I don't get is that when Ringo sings "I Wanna be Your Man" in one of the other versions, his mic is nowhere to be seen and you can't hear him either. Didn't anyone tell the TV studio crew that Ringo needed a mic for that song? Perhaps the complete songs- Twist and Shout, Roll Over Beethoven, I Wanna be Your Man and Shout were really done live and the medley which would be difficult to pull off, would have been recorded earlier and lip synced over. That would explain all the inconsistencies. I do have a little bit of a background in audio engineering. Anyone else hearing what I'm hearing?

With this, the Beatles changed the world forever in 1964. With the exception of Yeshua (aka Jesus), they made a humongous impact on the world.

What I would write if I had but a grain of the Beatles genius : The Very Good Night (Tribute to the Beatles) Followed you very secretly deep in the night Till you got home and I lost your shape of my sight Creaked the door, twenty steps - and the light in the frame All I have is to stand here and whisper your name So I wish you the very good night Till the dawn breaks and makes me all right Wrong are they who consider that love is but pain As this evening I hope I will see you again Birds are sad when the smile disappear off your face Distant look of your eyes is the top of the grace I would bring you the sky and the stars and the moon If you told me that you would be mine pretty soon So I wish you the very good night Till the dawn breaks and makes me all right Wrong are they who consider that love is but pain As this evening I hope I will see you again P. S. I also hope the English-speakers would forgive me since my mother language is still Russian...

I have seen snippets of this before, but seeing it in its entirety is something astonishing. I am also 69 but I don't feel it and I attribute another of that to growing up in the sixties, and yes the Beatles get the credit for sure. Butch Cummings. 😅

WOW! I hadn’t seen this MEDLEY before. As usual “ ALL CLASS “ DAMM they were great ! I’m 70 now but grew up listening to to these legends n oh what a privilege. I think I was 11 when I first heard them n that was it! Everybody was hooked on them . A tribute to their brilliance is that there are so many COVER BANDS copying the Beatles. And in fairness the bands of today have such an advantage with the tech n equipment compared to the Beatles. The Beatles sounded just as great live as they did on their albums! The BEST EVER BAND IN THE WORLD. I can’t see another band in the future having such an impact on the world. They were Legends in their own time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
