I consider The Obsessed thee heaviest Doom metal band right now. The first time I ever heard The Obsessed was 1984, not that it matter because Wino is a great, very underrated guitar player, one of the best underground guitarists period, but in all these years that's the first time I've seen Wino with a Strat. Had a doctor's appointment this morning, went to buy some sixpacks afterwards. At the store, some old guy (four 6-packs in his shopping trolley, his Daily Dose, I guess) said he wasn't feeling well, maybe I would call 112 (911)? He later was kind of OK, but was that the Great Spirit/The Universe's way of saying/asking: do you want to end up like him?

Daves raw, scathing solo sounds so caustic and frazzled here! Total wah wah abuse! Lol. Easily the best version and guitar solo shredding I've seen from Chandler. Solo sound, reminds me of an alcoholics life. Going thru the truly frightening and deadly DT's. Look up Delirium Tremors {if your not familiar] waking up sick, dreading the days of anxiety and alienation and eternal hangovers. A cautionary tale........
