U only have to use flux one time just put it on the wire first and connect it without having to put it on twice

That technique comes with experience and knowing how to solder . That lil dab of solder in that spot conducts heat much faster than trying to heat wire and terminal together. Allowing you add just enough solder to do the job properly.

its called jump wire, just normal copper wire that is about 0.05mm in diameter
