I have this pedal and love it. I'd like to pose one question, though, if I may. You mention in the video that the Hot Rod distortion is your favourite. Might I ask why you prefer that to the Digitech Distortion Factory? Doesn't the Distortion Factory bascially offer the same sounds as the Hot Rod (with the exception of a Big Muff instead of an Arbiter Fuzz-Face) plus additional emulations, but with more control due to the various high, mid and treble pots?
@DansGuitarMusic17 күн бұрын
The Hot Rod can blend the sounds of the pedal together with the morph control. I have just found it works really well with my guitar and amp. I still use the Distortion Factory all the time for Big Muff tones.

@@DansGuitarMusic Thank you! I've seen both of your excellent videos on the Hot Rod and the Distortion Factory, hence my question.

Do you think my Ds1 need battery replacement? The LED light is low and not bright as my Other boss pedal and I notice that BOSS super overdrive is much louder than my Ds1. What do you think?
@DansGuitarMusicАй бұрын
It would be a good idea to try! I use power cables instead of batteries these days!

Helpful info, liked and subscribed! 🎸 Also, a helpful tip for those that have this excellent (but sometimes maligned) pedal... Sounds ok in mono, but is magnificent in stereo. Take advantage of both outputs if you can, and run it out to two amps/cabs. This pedal is a great multi fx bargain. Thanks Uli.

What the difference between that and boss cs3? which one is better?
@DansGuitarMusicАй бұрын
I actually haven't used the Boss CS3. I would say the difference would be that you can still get the Boss pedal easily new as the Digitech is now discontinued.

Hi... so zero is rat, half is ds1 and full is fuzzface. And I can blend rat with ds1, and ds1 with fuzz face. My question is: can I also blend fuzzface with rat (I mean, rotation of the morth pot is continuous or not)? Thanks
