I can no longer enjoy listening to music or any sort of entertainment for that matter. I just feel guilty thinking of the Palestinians in their jihad. I used to love listening to Anthonie, I'm hoping he understands the situation of this world and able to express it through his music. I miss his songs

I had never heard of Anthonie Tonnon before tonight. And then I met him and watched him play this song live at the official launch of WOMAD 2024 (at which he will be playing in March). His performance was brilliant. Instant fan. Everyone come to WOMAD 2024 in New Plymouth and watch him with me.

What a beautiful song and powerful music video! I'm just now learning about the tram history in Ōtautahi and figuring how we can return it to the public transport service it was until 1954. I'm feeling inspired, thank you Anthonie!

I discovered Tonnon one day at random, listening to Music 101 during lockdown. Probably the NZ music discovery I'm most grateful for. Love his gift for narrative and analysis while still keeping sense of mystery and engagement for the listener. And then there is the melody.....Amazing. love this album. Bring on a live show.

@pistachio85 - "At random", yeah right! 😄 There's no such thing as 'coincidence', I believe 😉 Myself, I'd met him in person only a couple of weeks ago while visiting a friend in Whanganui, who then recognised Anthonie while we were sight-seeing one afternoon; Really nice guy, too! 😀 I checked out his Music once I was back home in Wellington and also liked it straight away! 😀👍 I was actually OCD'ing on his song 'Railway Lines' a few afternoons ago! 😄
