Huh...probably have to drop out the siver and gold with acid
@CandSMINING

That is usually true, but this wire was supposed to be 100% pure silver when purchased. Cupelation can still recover the silver without acids.

@@Moralseast Thomas, I have been prospecting for over 35 years and scrapping metal for the same time frame. I have mined gold in Arizona, Wyoming, South Dakota and dredged under water for 5 years in California and Oregon. Gold is beautiful stuff right out of the ground. Scrap metal isn't beautiful until you do something with it. I have many ounces of raw gold that I won't melt. I will scrap gold jewelry and make bars or buttons that I may sell. The other metals I will sell as scrap or melt into bars such as brass, copper and aluminum and sell them. It is all enjoyable and fun for me. I just can't sit around and watch the tube. Thanks for the comment on the video.

1. Those primers are nickel plated brass, don't need to deprime them 2. The thing you dumped out of a case was a primer anvil 3. The cases that look good (not crushed or bent) actually have more value as cases than their melt value. For example, 30-06 cases regularly sell for 30¢ each, 308 about 10-15¢. 223 and 9 mm are worth less as they are more common.
