Power wire next to the rca, rookie mistake. That's gonna cause engine noise thru the sub

This is ridiculous. I liked when all you had to do was undo the bolts from in the trunk and drop the old speakers out then slide the new ones in and retighten the bolts. Now you have to have a damn mechanical engineering degree.

thankyou for this! i needed to remove all that to clean my speakers! a shelf from the garage rafters fell and shattered my back window and all i could hear on my way to work was glass rattling, hopefully can get in there and everything will be better!! glad its mostly all clips!

I’m getting ready to install all new MB Quarts components through our my 08 Malibu.. Did you have to re drill holes for the aftermarket speakers to fit ?

What are the wire colors for the speakers like positive and negative

Sergio Paz the ones with the white line or anyline on the side are negative and solid is negative

well got the factory speakers out and , I have a pair of 6x9 kickers and the screw holes don't match. any suggestions on what to use to or how to mount? thank you

Jimmy Torres use a knife or flat head screwdriver and on the bottom it will have a mini clip and then punch in and pull and for the adaptation I would have to see to tell you which one

I brought my rear speakers , to a install place and they charged me 18 to mount it in. It was only that low because I had already prepped and cleared my back for install

I just did mine in 07 Malibu... wasn't as hard as video looks. 2 levers in trunk drop seats to expose 4 bolts, panels on side of window 2 7MM bolts, pull deck off 4 screw hold speakers on...
