It seems like this video was made in 2022. I'm in the slow to design category still because "good enough" isnt in my POD vocabulary yet. Once I get the hang of knowing fonts I want to use by name and not need to search "how to" I'll be quicker. "Good enough" will be because I know what I want to do. Does Heather still think 300-500 is a good number for T-shirts? I also wonder if she has changed at all about simple text only listings. Also what is her current mix of evergreen to chasing trending holidays etc?

I feel that some of the possibilities you tell here are totally out of this world, I believe that maybe a handful of people compared to the sheer numbers of people who do POD can REALISTICALLY make it. Thinking of percentages that’s maybe under 10 %. The rest will never make it to significant numbers, let’s be honest. I am a beginner, only in for half a year, and it entirely SUCKS! Even though I give it my all, learning so much on every occasion I can, all I had was obstacles and more obstacles! And cost! For tools to design, for Etsy fees, for things like Everbee that even didn’t run well on my laptop (in fact it totally screw up on there), and now I‘m in debt by 1K spending on all of this with almost no revenue to get off of the initial investment. I begin to think that it’s not worth it for people like me who need a few hundred bucks on top of their regular income, let alone for all those dreamers out there who think that this is the thing. I am too stubborn to give up yet, but the enthusiasm and fun I felt when I started has hit the ground very quickly. By the way, I am a business owner for more than 10 years now in a totally different industry, and I know what hard work means, and all I wanted was a few hundred bucks because my business is a bit too volatile for my liking, but it’s not achievable with POD, it looks like.

I really enjoyed this interview! I follow Jenny and appreciate how candid and relatable she is - thanks for your thought provoking questions. My biggest takeaway from this episode is to keep it simple-set up a personalized plan based on research, take consistent daily steps to move the needle, and avoid overthinking. Using tools like Everbee definitely help streamline the process, making it easier to stay focused and get the work done more efficiently - I use it every day.

Wow at her success!! Quick question to Jenny: When you update SEO on a listing do you create an entirely new listing or do you update an active listing?

This is just a suggestion. Maybe consider putting a filter in front of the mic to reduce the "hiss" from your voice. Also, when you speak, it sounds like you're in an empty room and it breaks up.

I loved this interview, maybe best of any so far. My only negative comment is that the sound coming from your mic, Cody, was awful. I could hear George perfectly well but when you talked it sounded as though you were in a tunnel and sometimes it would fade out all together. I would be interested to see if anybody e;se had the same problem, I love hearing from you and so it was disappointing to not be able to understand your questions. Thanks for caring. Eva

I feel inspired and overwhelmed at the same time. started an etsy shop 1/2024 - got 16 sales. (tshirts) - spent sooooooooooo much money on the gambit of influences, mocks, memberships etc... I was ready to close my shop this month...then I found George. I took advantage of my other dormant etsy shop and am now trying to walk down the path while watching his channel. I have everbee - not sure I can afford it much longer, but am trying hard while working fulltime and homeschooling my grade and middleschool girls. It's a lot - but when you were talking about resilience - i felt it in my gut - I want to make this work - so badly - hope I can sit in your seat someday!

I'm happy for George doing so well and helping others with his KZbin channel. Bummed that he blocked me for commenting that Pixian was a better deal for removing backgrounds than the paid subscription he suggested (Aiarty). At least I think it was for that. (Everything adds up for people not really making money yet so if there is a better/cheaper way I'll suggest it).
