I play this game since my child, and I got Boombada until my adulthood, I was very excited and proud of myself until I see that the rewars is one of the most useless spells in the game, and then I felt cheated, and my time wasted. At least now I know that I don't have the need to make the attempt again.

Nicely done, but seriously I don't get why people ALWAYS give the rare/limited spells away to random party members? When Ryu's the obvious choice? Same with the Chop Chop skill. It costs 0AP usage. Ryu has enough free space in his skill list + he is always present in the party. Chop Chop is a skill that can be specifically used for certain monsters. One of them is the giant fly on giant island. People give it to Nina for example, and then they end up going to monster island without Nina cause she's got no physical offensive power (=_=;) Chop Chop (from Wild Cat restaurant) Renew (from Ray if you save the village people) Nambada spell These 3 skills should be going to Ryu. Again, I am trying to show a great deal of respect for you claiming the nambada spell/pulling off the minigame, but I just can't unsee why you gave that spell to Jean >.>

haha all fair points and my Ryu always gets chop chop. but I use Jean throughout the rest of the game so I give him boombada he has more use of his ap as ryu only does dragon moves

@@cliftonmiller7967 No he doesn't. Ryu from BoFII only learns 4 spells (Time warp, Cure1, Cure2 and Smoke). And Renew isn't one of them. This is only the case with Cure2, if you fail to even save a single villager, then you get Cure2 from Ray. In this scenario, you give it to the 2nd most likely option which is Nina.

I agree with Chop Chop, but the other spells to Ryu? Just no. Renew is useless. LifePls are way more effective. But in any case, both Renew and Boombada need AP, those spells are totally wasted on Ryu. Also, it's better to get Cure 2 instead of Renew from Ray and then give it to Nina. In the end give the spell to whoever you like, the game will not be easier or harder because of this, there is no wrong choice. Don't be so dramatic.

This developer really like to torture us with crap mini-game where we should need some guide where we need to hit A and B, i just pissed with it and skip entire process because it was not worth at all. The problem is it was too fast for SNES and capturing rhythm was too hard unless you have emulator feature to slow it down like 1/2 speed for better precise hit. Really, even Breath of Fire 3 is much easier to capture the rhythm than this one.

FYI, what helped me do this very quickly was figuring out the bpm, which I'm pretty sure is 225. I opened up a music DAW and set the bmp to 225, put the view to quarter notes, then wrote in the A and B actions as notes. -A-B--PA-B-A--PB---B--AB----APPA. Each of the 32 characters are a count of the 32 in an 4x8 loop. i.e. 1A2B123A, etc.
