This stuff is not garbage. If you cleaned both surfaces properly they would not come apart unless you tore them apart.

My EP2 is having EPS problems for 1 year. It started to turn the EPS light once in a month, and now it fails every 10 seconds or so... With a fancy scan tool it showed "motor voltage error", the battery voltage never went below 12.7v consuming 59A...I will try this and update the progress...
@C3LM4RFG9 ай бұрын
Well, it didn't fix my problem... My EPS module was ok, but when I open my used eletric motor I could see a lot of dust from the brushes which I believe it could cause the "motor voltage error", maybe... I ended up buying a refurbished assembly (rack+eletric motor) for 490€... Now it works great but It was quite expensive and a pain in the rear to remove the old one...

Big help, thank you very much. I confirm it's the same for ep1 and ep2, you don't have to splice the wire. Just use a hard copper wire and push it in the hole of pin 8 from behind.

Thanks for the video! The a/c in my ep just doesn’t get very cold anymore even after being topped off with a/c freon. Looking at just replacing the whole system since I don’t know what the problem is. Your video is some good info for part of my project soon thanks!

I think the issue could be the plastic mount on that skirt is not designed great. One area to hold all that skirt is too much. No wonder it doesn't hold. For the tape to work it needs like 2.5cm length for every half a kilo - assuming everything else is followed like clean surface free of oil etc.

That spring is connected to the “P” lever mechanism only, there is no spring to return the foot lever in that area,

That's all the parts my ep3 needs. I'm also looking to get a LSD for my trans too. Right now I have a 05 TSX K24A2 swap with a RSX Type S trans. I also swapped in a Type R Oil Pump, valve springs, and Type R PRC intake manifold. Still needs to get tuned.
