After trying some ways to create an RF choke for vhf I can say how difficult is to make them work on the requerided frequency... constructing them is relatively easy, but without measurements is almost useless to install the rf choke. the usual aproach of coaxial turns depends only on plane luck to get usefull impedance and cant replicate the formula making a second choke. A total different case is for HF when using a toroid and a nanovna you can create a trusty RF choke. just saying 73's

Airwound chokes are narrow band frequently specific, so I doubt this will do the job across all vhf/uhf. It might do good at some specific FQ, however we don’t know which one, because of lack of measurements.

Is the choke dependent on the lenght of antena? Ie: can i use the choke of the rubber ducky antena to attack a 1/2 wave monopole antena?

This is a great video but...SO239 connectors are not constant impedance so <bump>. Then pigtail connections are used so two more impedance bumps, chokes like this are not optimised to work over a 3:1 frequency spectrum, chokes like this tend to gasp at these frequencies due to distributed capacitance and finally- the radius is too small really for RG58 coaxial cable. That said it looks great and I'm giving it a go because to hell with theory- if it works, it works!

ik heb er een gemaakt van 6 meter rg58cu, maar dan met een 32mm pvc pijp, werkt perfect op dezelfde banden.(gelijk in het feedpoint van de antenne) geen spatje rf meer in de shack!
