It should be mentioned that this band was an inspiration to Kurt Kobain

One of the creepiest albums in history, and the guy whose little brother inspired the title was ABSOLUTELY ON POINT to take that into consideration when deciding on an album name.

Yeah, no. The "what if Bjork made folk music" comparison is tired. They're two avant garde women with unique singing styles and that's the extent of that comparison. Also, her lyrics being ambiguous doesn't mean they're stream of consciousness. There's intense storytelling going on

Genuinely one of the worst albums of all time imo. The only value that I can see in it is that I'm sure it was cathartic to make.

U wish u could do a millionth of a percent of what they made on that album. Of course they didn’t know what they were going to be yet, how could any of them known. They were young and experimental and above all, talented musicians. They made their own lane for how old the album is. I don’t get how you, or anyone really, could say “There’s some good stuff on here” but then still kinda trash it at the same time. There are so few albums where every single track is a good song, how could you fault any album for only having a few good songs? I have always stood by that Bleach is their best album. Especially with all the history. The chaos of Kurts life and the meanings and delivery of his words, the multiple drummers on one album (dave grohl wasnt part of them at all for this, I wonder if you even knew this), and the part that gets to me is how astonishing it is how a few kids could push themselves and scrounge up a couple hundred dollars for two recording sessions. And how they went from this experimental, soul punching music into this, multi-generational, worldwide renowned band. You don’t get to that point by putting out bad music(especially before the internet and industry plants ). Solely judging off of this one video, the single most generic Pink Floyd shirt in existence really tells me all I need to know about how worthy and backed up your take on this album is. Grow up a little. Completely forget about this album, and when it randomly comes up in discussions or your brain, sit down and listen to the album. Read the lyrics, truly understand them, and then I sincerely hope that you can be able to appreciate this album for what its worth. Cheers, I just love this album so much and needed to say that

It’s all hooks if you pay attention to the harp compositions, there’s a lot that gets repeated and revisited melodically, harmonically, and rhythmically, but with different lyrics, moods, and accompaniment which is a brilliant approach to songwriting. This becomes clearer with repeated listens.
