@@zederwald6601By the way, I posted my first modular jam a couple of days a go on KZbin. I look forward to a comment. 😊 kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZKqiJmBjKZqfLMsi=vaHnlzbsSXU2jKQ1

Nice work! I use the 3PT from Robaux for three channel transition
@zederwald66013 ай бұрын
@@parristaylor thank you ! Yes 3pt is nice ! Upside outputs are more convenient in my situation cause I wanted the module to be on the first raw, with the most used units 😊

@arnaudlesage-o3l3 ай бұрын
nice mate!! do you use compression on this?
@zederwald66013 ай бұрын
I have 3 compressors in the eurorack now, but not sure I used them all on this jam. One compressor for the kick. One sidechain compressor on a submix for sounds that need it (especially basslines) One master compressor just to glue the whole mix
@izntrik3 ай бұрын
Transitions are so crucial for live performances but can be hard to do in modular. Adjusting the span to trigger the glitch effect only at the end of the crossfader is such a good idea! It's a big advantage over modules that are more just attenuators like Makrow or Catalyst. Have you seen the new Meta module for fx transitions? I can't wait for mine to arrive.
@zederwald66013 ай бұрын
Yes it's really a game changer to be able to select the direction of the voltage for each output, and a minimum span to engage the output only at the end of the fader ! For sure I've seen the Meta😊 Thanks to 306, I can do quite the same with what I already have (I can also launch a noise and a snare roll for fun, why not 😊) You'll have great times with this one, enjoy !!

Love this how you sequencing the drums and bass line
@zederwald66018 ай бұрын
Thanks mate. This is old but I think the bassline is sequenced by WMD arpitecht here. For drums it's a combination between the TR-8S drum machine, beatstep pro, Dnipro dot and mutable instruments grids.. or just a few of them.. hard to see 😊

great sound! how do you like the modbase vs kicks from a drum machine? always find modular kicks a bit flat in a mix comparatively, and i’m always hoping to be wrong
@zederwald6601 Жыл бұрын
Many thanks ! For me it's the opposite. I never used the original 909, but I've always struggled to obtain a punchy and warm analog kick with the 8S. Problem solved with the Jomox. 😊 Other good ones are WMD Crater and SSF Ultra kick. Very powerful 💣
