I`m really curious if it`s possible to make an object dynamically invert its color using blending mode in InDesign? Here`s my situation: I have a black text on a dark background. In order to make it readable, I need to either change the text color manually (my current, usual method), or I could change this text`s blending mode to "Invert", so that every time it happens to "sit" on a similar color, it automatically changes it`s color to something opposite=readable, so I don`t have to do it manually.. The problem is, I cannot find "invert" blending mode among blending modes in InDesign :( Is it actually not there, or did I miss something? And if so, maybe there`s another easy way to accomplish this? Not neccesarily with blending modes, it`s just what came to my mind first - because that`s the way I did this in Photoshop. Thanks in advance!

Mariela Hurtado thanks! I have a bunch of color videos that you are welcome to use. I over saw the Color Division at Parsons School of Design for many years. If you go to thomasbosket.com you will see more of my other art work. I also run a non-profit: engncntr.com! Social practice fun. If you ever need me live...I’d love to do an intensive workshop in Mexico! Good luck. Be well, Tom
