Nice sound, and nice playing, but it sounds like your G is out.

some of the bass note choices suggest that the chord symbols are incorrect.

The Realist does not sound good on every bass. I'm a string bass repairman and Luthier. They seem to work fairly well on well set up Kay basses, for playing jazz. For anything above small club/ acoustic but slightly louder gigs, I've experienced its fairly easy to get feedback. This issue is particularly bad on a big voiced, dark sounding bass, which mine is. I've owned two, sold them both. The thing I really do not like about The Realist is where it sits. It's very easy for an owner, or amateur to make the bridge slide out -like a person slipping on a banana peel. I've seen it. It also leaves two permanent impressions made by the piezo elements, in the spruce under the bridge foot. The sound clip is a much better option. The K&K works quite well for the loud Rockabilly players.

Great bass playing, helped me with the D7 eb D7 transition. Only could be better with a double bass!

Hello, I purchased a total of 12 different charts of your transcripts; however, this one on lesson 9 Triplets, wouldn’t download when I clicked the link.😢 I sent you a message about it the same day I purchased them through PayPal. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Interesting that P.C doesn't seem know the correct changes in 1st chorus (bars 13-14), kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHu9qZqrpqacrJo Whereas Red is plainly playing {Eø7 A7} {Dmin } for those bars ... BUT, then P.C. corrects it later on in the tune (Bars 45-46)

I had another listen and don't hear that. I was also wondering if that back track was accurate. Anyhow, travelling with a crappy computer for audio isn't going to help. I'll have another listen with some headphones when I get off the road.@@guillaumeottaviani9228

Reggie Workman's take on this timeless standard is the premier version as far as I'm concerned. Similarly, the take from the Adam's Apple session which preceded the Miles Smiles release of Wayne's composition is also preferable, in my opinion. By comparison, Ron never takes a solo in the latter version, and the upbeat tempo adds nothing to the simple hard bop solos compared to the original cut. Although, I love the second quintet and the bulk of everything they recorded, some things are better left unchanged. This is definitely one of those things.
