wow that's scary. what were you planning on doing with the shark? did the line break?
@goprovids75032 жыл бұрын
Was hoping to let it go, as it was far too big for my family to be able to eat (many vegan sans vegetarians in my home). Line chaffed through on the sharks teeth, or maybe through friction with its very rough skin.

G’mate, saw you last week I’m the one in the Hobie with outriggers. I’m aiming to be back out there this Friday and possibly Saturday also...catch you out there perhaps.
@goprovids75036 жыл бұрын
Vu Pham Hi mate. Was that you on Thursday? Good to hear from you. That was a funny day. I've fished out there for several years all alone, and suddenly last week there were 4 or 5 guys on kayaks in one morning! I watched your videos last year when you were catching those big fellas at Molineux point. Congratulations on some epic fish! Yellow Rock's not bad. Plenty of fish, but I've not had many over 75cm. Went out again on Saturday just gone, but the swell was BIG. It's not a good place to go when the ground swell gets over 1.5 to 1.7m. Managed a few, but the fish were quieter than Thursday when I saw you. Anyway, look forward to seeing you out there. Tight lines. Maybe we should tee up a session sometime and meet up.?
@thay_cau_ca6 жыл бұрын
Gopro Vids 2016 was an epic year for kings off Molli but 2017 was very disappointing ... nothing over 75cm also. Common theme. Last week I went out again on Friday and the swell was 1.5m and that was rough indeed! Fortunately I have those outriggers which absorb every bump. I assume you can’t make it out this week please drop me an email on [email protected] and we’ll line up a future session. Very warm currents coming and that will bring the Mack Tuna which will be fun to chase. I hear they are already lurking.

Im looking at buying a kayak, what size and brand is your kayak?
@goprovids75036 жыл бұрын
Hi Mate. I have a moken 12.5. It's quite well fitted out from the factory, has light to moderate inshore fishing potential, good for Estuaries and bays. Not overly expensive. Downside - not the right boat for higher speed offshore trolling. A good general kayak. Hope that helps
