Yeah that can be tough losing important files like those. When I factory reset my pc (because it had a virus) I lost all my files and I dident even save it to a USB lol. I had to restart but obviously mistakes are made and we learn from them. I understand about losing motivation and all that aswell.. tbh I am at the point of taking a break for a bit. Either way.. do what you may and I will be here to support you! Lemme rephrase.. everyone or most people will be here to support you!
