I was at Ronnie Scott's for the first performance last night (12/6/23) Absolutely incredible musicianship. Had a table at the front, courtesy of my mate Frank, the Uncommon Orchestra's cellist.

I've only heard this once before - Jazz Record Requests on Radio 3, about seven years ago.

Thank you so much for posting this Mike. The Cortege remains my favourite recording of yours, and Lindsay made such a big contribution to it. She's in peace now. Having seen this I am assuming there is a full recording of the concert lurking somewhere: hitherto I've only seen the 'edited highlights'

Would Will Halfacree be related to Hazel I worked with in the Air Ministry in the early 1960's? She originally came from Cheriton Fitzpaigne.
