amazing, I didn't know he had done any interviews or talks! The song at the start was a bit long haha. I guess they where waiting for the specific lyrics

I wonder what happened to the people he photographed? Also, thank you for sharing. Such a great documentary. I’ve watched a few times.

That feeling like the end is coming, I see it more and more in the UK now. People who would never prep, preparing for… we don know what. But we see it more often now.

What a great film this was, so interesting to see a glimpse into a project like this and Alec's mind. The photos out of this were published in "Broken Manual" - I would love to be able to get a copy of that book, but it's incredibly expensive these days. Anyway, great film.

"Broken Manual" is included in "Gathered Leaves Annotated" check it out. It's not the same as having the actual copy of the original book of course, but still it is very satisfying to read. Hope I helped!

I get it I’ve done it back in the day, but with todays tech there’s absolutely no reason to be lumping a fucking 10x8 camera around absolutely no way. And then the flimsy excuse is just so typical of todays generation and the photos aren’t even all that. Stop being a wanker and show us some photography. The funny thing is all the damn good shots you missed on the way because of this stupid idea of yours.

It’s because there was a copyright conflict with the audio. Fortunately, it doesn’t really effect the story very much - I’m not even sure if Alec has dialog during it.

This was wonderful! I’ve had a lifelong admiration for his photography after having discovered it wasting time working at the library in college 40 years ago, but I have never heard him speak. It’s great to see that he is a humble, sensitive, humorous soul, but of course why wouldn’t he be based on his body of work? The love, respect and admiration between Lee and his grandson is quite evident.
