This scene actually…puts a whole self-referential comedic spin on the whole movie, first time I watched the movie I was blown by the horror angle and obviously by the legend JN, then I rewatched it and this scene in hindsight now, made it all hellishly gleeful …….😂😂😂 But no matter how you look at it, this is a once in a lifetime legendary movie that is one of those rare ones that surpass the book, all thanks to one Mr Jack Nicholson ………🙏🙏🙏

As how scary and terrifying the movie becomes later, you can not deny the terrific acting of the actors in The Shining especially Jack Nicholson, he was beyond fantastic and was perfect of being scary and terrific in the main role and also why he still remains legendary of all the Hollywood actors.

Roland came to see the Taheen running across the desert. They came to ask a question. The hawk and bird knew where the key was.

So it's not economically feasible to just drive a snowblower up and down a highway a few times in order to take in all that skiing money ?

Jack would have become even more insane if, after driving for hours and hours to the Overlook Hotel and back home, he didn't get the job.

5:30 that's such a great shot. Bill barely talks or even appears in the movie, and yet he gets developed just by cutting to his reaction to the conversation

Been to this hotel. Not that scary. I guess the Native Americans buried underground at any place know when to exact their revenge on the right people that need to understand what their forefathers did. Western Europeans needed the room. Puritans and rest of the Europeans needed it first from what I read in 8th grade US History. Lucas fade. nice.

The first half of The Shining makes me really really hungry. Like the way the people talk, the coffee, the look of the hotel, THE KITCHEN SCENES, the way Dick Hallorann talks about food, it makes me want food a lot. I don't think this was Kubrick's intention LMAO. Please tell me I'm not the only weirdo who feels this.

A quick observation of mine Do you see the woman with the red shirt? red symbolises blood the same blood the overlook requires to continue her collar is spread apart like the wings of a eagle symbolising freedom and the artificial spirit of the united states. her vest is almost like snakeskin symbolising the Navajo symbol of treachery.- Every youtuber who watches the film
