There’s always that excitement when you crack a safe or a jewel/money box. One time my friend who stayed here after a divorce, went to a thrift store and for 3 little money safes. One was army green and heavy the other two were modern and light. I got those open on mere seconds but nothing. Now the army green heavy steel box was a bit more work. 15-20 minutes in I got the lock picked and it opened up. And the heaviness came from coin trays. But when we lifted the coin trays we were met with surprise. There was this bleuish green note that said Reichsbank. We looked at it closer it was a 100 Reichsmark from WW2. So we joked who of us would walk into the bank and bark in a German accent: “please exchange zis fuer euros BIttE!” So the money box must have been from a German soldier stationed here in the Netherlands during the occupation. 100 reichsmark was worth next to nothing 😂

Man we have so much in common.. I really want to make a heli setup, and I have these controllers just laying around not being used for regular sim, so I might give your setup a try just to satisfy the desire. There's a flight school just down the road from me that has the R22's. I see you're using the honeycomb yoke... I'm in the middle of building a force feedback yoke based on a really old CH yoke and the Sidewinder joystick. And man, I absolutely hate those updates... completely blow my time that I was hoping to use as sim time.

Oh man the driveshaft! Dumb question, you can't just buy a new gear? Is that not easy to get your hands on? Are you going to pull the ATF fluid after some driving and check for metal on the plug. The towing thing is so sad and annoying.
@StartupChuckАй бұрын
I might be able to spec the gear and find a similar one. But i couldn't find anything listed as a replacement.

My roomba 765 is a bit newer, 2015 model, but I don't see how anyone was seriously using these... they sucked and not in a good way. It would get stuck constantly, has no intelligence, would constantly push it's own charging base away, etc... horrible device. My 2020 neato botvac d7 was already loads better, would actually clean in a reasonable pattern instead of going around the room like a drunk monkey (that's what the roomba would do). I've got a dreame 10 ultra heat whatever thing now, it's quite a lot better still but it's still stupid enough to suck up stuff such as hair bands that will prevent it from cleaning. Still though, I love this thing, it's properly mopping around my dinner table daily which is a blessing with little kids around. And the neato is still chugging along at times, when it doesn't get stuck. The roomba... I move it back to it's base station probably once every 2 weeks, hoping it will clean something. At least my kids love playing with the buttons on the roomba.

Why don't you remove each key that opens a deposit bag so you have less keys to match up to the remaining deposit bags?

It seems everyone who builds a machine now days calls it a Robot. I built a machine that finds the combination to Master locks made from FischerTechnik parts. You can see it on my channel.

Did you say 500G? I think you're off by a bit, a washing machine gets up to 5G to maybe 10G or so. With regards to destroying the washing machine, shouldn't it have sensors for balance? I know mine tries to spin the other direction if it detects an inbalance but I'm not sure if that's standard :)

I really hate to point out the obvious, but if you bought the safe and it's not bolted down to the floor, then all you have to do to retrieve any loose contents is turn it upside down and work the deposit cylinder a few times, and whatever is inside will drop out. I'm a locksmith and I've had to do a couple of jobs with deposit safes where this was the simplest solution, once to retrieve a mobile phone, and the second time was to get the keys for the safe itself that a disgruntled ex employee had deposited in the safe.
