Glenn is an awesome player, but he’s doing too much. Trading 4’s with a sax player with a band should sound a lot better than this. We all know he can play.

WHat mouthpiece are using? And what did you do to get that edgy sound on alto.

Hey Charles "Great Sound". Was wondering if you can make an updated video showing how to connect Chordie to Logic Pro X to play Midis? Appreciate it!

not helpful.. how do you put the external keyboard? I have it defined in external devices.. I have LoopMIDI Port1 defined in external devices.. the external keyboard is also defined as midi input device.. but when the keyboard midi comes into that track, on the channel channel there is no way to tell it to pass that data to LoopMidi Port 1... this is fine, but using the keyboard, this only solves half the problem.. btw, Chordie?? in Studio One 7?? never heard of it...

Add an External Midi track, and set it to output to the loop midi port

I'm following along with the SimpleEQ tutorial on fCC, and it's really wonderful--thank you! I'm curious about the step of creating aliases for CutFilters and MonoChains using four Filters for the former and building upon that for the latter. Why does a CutFilter need four filters? And is there a good resource to better understand why the LowCut and HighCut Slopes require multiples of 12? Thanks again!

Hey Charles... I'm watching you I belive 10 years...I love your sound on alto very much. I can see that lately you changed your durga to an Arb... I know you were in factory to pick up one that sounds and feels better For you... but... I want to ask you please... If it is stock ot refaced? Because I want to buy one... And if you know where I can order that mp ? Last question sorry... what tip number you choose finally? Thanks Charles very much. Keep doing great videos!!!!

Hey doron, it's a stock ARB Custom 7. Check Beechler's website for where to order, that's who makes the mouthpiece.

I have to say, horn and sax players are where I draw my biggest inspiration for phrasing on bass. Especially you. Ever since the Joy To The World video. Love your playing man, and Mr. Donald Hayes.
