Hi Warp, I understand your point and I did lose against dimir tempo in the end actually. I do like playing 100% at instant speed though (except Lurrus and a couple sorceries). Bowmaster does allow the opponents removal to hit, but it always requires two removal spells. Next time I'll probably go with frog and tamiyo though, expecially tamiyo is just super strong and only one mana, so easier to protect.

Winning against mono red on the draw with five starting cards is just so silly. But tbh given that oppo had four cards in hand at the end of game 3, they must've missed lethal. Ain't no way they only had a slick shot to play.

@@d0m_deluxe That's the best way to understand their weaknesses ;) I managed to beat them a few times with orzhov mid thanks to Liliana and a lot of hand disruption with bats, duress and cruelclaw's heist. But every time it felt like the game could slip from my grasp with a single good top deck of theirs.

​@@d0m_deluxeIt's better to draw during your drawsteps and then brainstorm so you can look deeper into your library. If you don't like what you see, you can crack a fetchland and shuffle them away. The only time you should brainstorm during an opponents turn is to try and find a response for a spell they're casting or tuck something in hand away so they can't force you to discard it.

Hi Warp, I agree. Sultai seems to be the definitive version. I wanted to try this out though. The white is there mainly in order to be able to remove any problematic permanents from the board with fragment reality and prismatic ending. All the best!

Hi Charlababs, this version focuses less on the tokens and uses the caretaker's talent more of a card advantage engine and finisher. This version is a more traditional control deck compared to the other caretaker decks. All the best!

I think you want to have more creatures in a frog deck. In a control deck, it just makes your opponent's non-red removal spells a whole lot more useful than they would be otherwise.

Hi Warp, I agree, it always makes me anxious when playing the deck. One surgical extraction and you have no way to end the game except a lone Lurrus. Bowmasters always comes in doubles though, so it usually works better than expected. Also Archmage charm can steal threats. I have to agree with Oobie. The goal is to blank the opponents removal spells. All the best!
