Good to see another vid from you and great review! Love the truck and I'm still waiting to find one , the closest iv come is a anson 2002 and it's the short version and a ext. Ricky's are easy to open up so if you have the time someday definitely tighten the hinges ( only a plate screwed in holding the hood and tailgate in place) and that will make it feel more refined, there pretty straight forward

I was thinking to get this or the Mitsubishi EVO BY CSM.

With these higher quality brands not having suspension is actually very common and I think it's just because of all of all of the small suspension parts have to be scaled down so obviously it has to be smaller and thinner and I'm thinking that if they put suspension on it that would allow more to go wrong with the model like broken linkage especially up front...believe it or not I like no suspension...a lot less to go wrong and for some reason the rear wheels always bow on ones with suspension

When you get some of these Chinese and Japanese cars the detail is unreal...iv seen some that have openable gas tank doors foldable seats some with the center console that opens and the sun visors...some brands really get into it, I don't have any just because I don't like the idea of buying something overseas on eBay...haven't tried it yet and don't know if I want too

Very nice vid! I have two of these...one in a two time black and silver similar to this and a one of 1600 in a medium blue but that ones an ertl elite so the quality is better...very nice truck but I'd definitely does have its weak points like the paint, hinges, and rims but the way I see it ertl is a mass producing company that being said they make roughly 20-40 different models in a year run that will get shipped to thousands of stores around the country but each model needs to cost about the same to make so they don't lose money so what you'd call a imperfection or a weak point is a compromise on there part, that's why a smaller or less bulky model will be better in quality because it dosent take as much diecast to make so they can pay more attention to smaller details but on the other hand iv seen pickups and or suv's made bu different companies that are the same size or bigger with better quality. I have almost all 1/18 pickups that aren't based on a vintage truck so I have a lot of info to go by but the motormax Dodge Ram 1500 is by far my best modle in the "budget model category but my beanstalk 150 is my best pickup overall.
