I am a firefighter from Taiwan. Thanks for sharing this practical rescue method. May I know where I can get the Rescue Belt in the Vedio 6:29 ? Or it is customized made by yourself? Much appreciated if I can have your reply!

I just found your channel and it’s badass. I’ve been a firefighter 17 yrs and as of about 2 years ago I joined a combination dept that does over 16000 calls(fire/ems combined) and this video reminds me of our company. These guys are bad ass. Courage pride respect honor…it’s all a major part of who we are. And you’re absolutely right-this job is not for everyone. But the guys I run with there are on point. You can’t tell the difference between the collies and career guys. And we train hard literally every day and if we slack on anything and I mean literally anything it’s pointed out and fixed immediately because we need to be disciplined in every and all aspects from simply keeping a clean fridge to skill training and everything else in between and beyond. Awesome video brother.

That was absolutely one hell of a job brothers. This just shows that training as much as you can is vital because you never know when you will be put in a situation like this. Outstanding

11 minutes for that type of extraction. That is effective and efficient. That vechicle substained alot of damage.. lucky there wasn’t other exposure problems that they had other than what was within that 1 action circle. Fire control, aggressive airway management. Pt. And vechicle stabilization, extraction. Pretty good size up and communications. That is what good training will get you

This is the first time I'm seeing an option for a single man rescuer on a downed firefighter up stairs. I imagine the worst case is not having that second rescuer or the second guy is engaged in fire suppression in order to protect the other two... I absolutely love the idea of employing the SCBA on novel ways, or potentially modifying it. It's always on us, why not?? As an aside, I was able to bail out of a window with the SCBA, using the SCBA as an anchor on the inside (much like we do with the halligan/ax/tool) and hang from the strap on the outside of the window. Just sharing in case y'all haven't tried that. Think more firefighters need to know that's an option versus the free falling. I know we should all have webbing but thinking worst case.

Looking at that car it doesn't seem like anyone could have survived. There isn't any of the vehicle that isn't mashed. She must have been conscious or they wouldn't have known she was having breathing troubles, but I imagine she sustained some serious injuries. Great work by FF's to get her out so fast while the fire was still burning and saved her from burning.

About a 12 inch laceration to my head and a broken and dislocated hip! And yes I was conscious the entire time it was a miracle given the circumstances. I tried my hardest to stay calm but when the smoke started bellowing in I started to freak out

Faith is a beautiful name for a girl. Bassel, had you not thought outside the box, the dispatcher referenced would’ve been attending Faith’s funeral instead of receiving get well cards from you and your crew on T-15.

Did I hear them right that a medic 2 mins out got diverted to a DB?!?!?
@ibrassel
@ibrassel 2 жыл бұрын
R8 was en route to an Anxiety Attack call prior to this extrication being toned out. R11 was en route to this specific call. But both medics ( we call them rescues) were going to pass each other. So dispatch diverted R11 to the Anxiety call ( difficulty breathing ) and added R8 to our extrication. Even tho R11 was 2 mins out. R8 was closer and got on scene about 30 secs after the diversion. Great job on dispatch’s hand for cross referencing the calls and adding the closest unit to the most critical call.
