@Craig-fe5hr I wish I had picked up the full Vista car as well. I ran these with the Legacy Polar express, and honestly I'm probably not going to get the Lionel PE cars.

Oddly I was thinking about G scale before I got back into model trains. What swayed me to O scale was the availability of more steam engine models, and the fact that living in a townhouse for now, I really do not have the ability to run a G scale engine in my house right now.

She is very cool indeed. Probably like everyone else into model railroading, I have a obsession with articulated steam engines. Hopefully you can find one for sale.

@@Petes3rail this engine reminds me a lot of the Great Northern R2s 2-8-8-2s done by MTH. Since they are pretty hard to find just like the angus.

@@brendanstrains9725 I jumped on this one as soon as I found it. Of all my MTH steam engines this is one of a few that actually sound very good. I suspect that is possibly due to the size of the tender. This and a couple other of my Premier engines sound good, however my Premier Big Boy falls short in the sound department.

Thanks! I have only gotten back into model trains a little over a year now. I used to have HO. When I got back into it I was torn between O and G scale. I started with the Polar Express set, found out about scale models and sold that and started collecting Legacy and Premier models. Of course like most of the people in the hobby, you always want more.
