I actually have an idea for an AU version of Wish with a completely original cast of characters and an entirely different story too. It’s called “Wish Guardians,” and it’s basically if Disney made an anime-style 2.5-D animated film that was basically if Sailor Moon (or any magical hero anime) met Ninjago and Skylanders. And will also be the first mainline Disney animated movie that uses a combination of both the Classic Disney Formula and The Pixar Formula (as there have been a couple of mainline Disney movies with the Pixar Formula such as Meet The Robinsons, Bolt, Wreck It Ralph, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia). In this version, Rosas will be more of a tropical, yet futuristic city-like kingdom (inspired by both Meta Runner and Nimona), and it will focus on a cast of characters who start out as regular late teens/young adults, but are chosen to become something more. A team of heroes with mystical weapons and elemental powers called “Wish Guardians,” who not only protect The Kingdom of Rosas, but also its most prized possession, The Wishing Star, a magical star that has shined over destinations around the world for many centuries, but has mostly been shined over Rosas. Here’s some of the main characters and their personalities and such. Louis Luminous (Myself): The current Prince of Rosas and heir to the throne. Louis is a very kind, generous, and optimistic young man who cares very much for the kingdom and loves everything about it. He has a passion for movies, tv, games, and comics/books; but his biggest flaw is that he mostly tries to study so much so that he can be at the top grades of his schools and become a great King. That’s also why before his senior year of High School, he never made any friends (except for his cousin Dani) as he feels having a lot of friends would distract him from his important studying. However, in a shocking surprise; his parents, The King and Queen (Hugh Jackman and Kari Wahlgren) encourage Louis to make friends in his senior year and live a little more so that he can have more light in his life. Alison Astra (Cristina Vee): A young blonde bisexual girl who lives with her grandfather at the Rosas Gardening Center and Floral Shop. Alison also enjoys movies, tv, games, and comics/books; but she also has a deep passion for nature and its many beautiful plants. She’s not a massive vegan or extreme environmentalist, but she does one day wish for a greener future. When she meets Louis, she not only becomes one of his best friends, but his true love as they gain crushes on each other. Owen Orion (Richard Horvitz): A very geeky nerd who’s great with computers and rewiring/configuring all sorts of technology as his family owns Rosas’ main source of its futuristic technology and gadgets; “Orion Computers, Hover-Conversions, and Tech.” Despite being great with computers and technology in general, Owen isn’t the bravest of young people. Nicole Nova (Cree Summer): A black bisexual girl, and tough lady with a big heart. Her two dads own and run forging/blacksmith shop in the kingdom and make tons of jewels and decorations with their fiery tools. Nicole has been Alison’s girlfriend/partner since middle school and would protect Alison from any man who would try to hit on Alison in either a creepy or narcissistic way. Being the tough lady with a big heart she is, she will defend her friends to the end and take nonsense from no one. Her personality is basically inspired by Numbuh 5 from KND and Gloria from Madagascar. However when Louis starts to fall in love with Alison, Nicole begins to appreciate this relationship and trusts her with Louis more than any other man. AJ Apollo (Johnny Yong Bosch): A very athletic young man who lives with his family at the Rosas Fitness Center that they run. He’s an expert at swimming, but is still getting there with his other passion, archery. He doesn’t have as much muscle as Nicole does, but despite his skinny yet somewhat muscular body, he never gives up in achieving his athletic dreams. Hamilton The Cat (Lin Manuel Miranda): Louis’ pet cat and one of his only friends before his senior year of high school. Ebby (David Tenant): A being of the Stars who chooses Louis and his 4 friends to become the next generation of Wish Guardians on a night where they wish that they can prove that they’re more than just outcasts/losers. As Louis and his friends are given special weapons and elemental powers, Ebby trains the 5 to become Rosas’ new heroes. (Yes this is basically the scrapped Star Boy concept from the original version of Wish who’s now rewritten to be a mentor for the Wish Guardians rather than a love interest for Asha) Ori The Parrot (Alan Tudyk): Ebby’s pet Star Parrot, that’s really all there is. “Dark” Demi Drusilla (Susan Sarandon): The royal sorceress and vizier of Rosas and Queen’s sister. Drusilla has secretly been a follower of Tenebrid, The Monstrous Godlike Embodiment of Darkness and Despair (Frank Welker) and would do anything to free Tenebrid again as she wanted Rosas’ throne all to herself. She performs dark magic in secrecy and is looking for a way to overthrow the King and Queen, take over Rosas, and then the world. She believes that Louis is the key to his parents’ undoing, and when she finds out Ebby chooses Louis and her friends as the next Wish Guardians, she figures if she can get Ebby’s star power, she can finally become the most powerful evil sorceress and finally fulfill her evil plans. And let’s not forget Demi’s right hand man. Krimson Belial (Patrick Warburton): While not evil like Demi, he will do pretty much almost anything for her, though he’s not always the brightest. And yes, he’s played by Patrick Warburton because he’s based off of Kronk from The Emperor’s New Groove. And there’s also Demi’s daughter. Dani Drusilla (Christine Marie Cabanos): Shy, yet friendly, and also not evil; because of the fact that she also performs dark magic in secrecy under her evil mother’s wing, Demi Drusilla never lets Dani outside of the castle as she fears people would ostracize her if they found out about her powers. And she wants to see more of the kingdom as Louis, her cousin, was the only friend she ever has. However, when news goes out about Louis making friends for a change in his senior year, Demi makes one exception for Dani and has her follow Louis to gather intel for Demi’s evil plans. Though around the end of the movie, Dani realizes that dark magic can be used for good and she becomes the 6th Wish Guardian. Dani is based off of Hotaru Tomoe from Sailor Moon, personality wise, but plot-wise, her relationship with her mother, Demi, is inspired by both Quasimodo’s relationship with Frollo and Rapunzel’s relationship with Mother Gothel. Of course there are many other characters such as 5 bullies to the main cast who Demi Drusilla turns into her own team of villainous helpers (Erica Lindbeck, Lisa Ortiz, Kira Buckland, Kellen Goff, and Chris Evans), two comedic royal guards (Bill Hader and John Mulaney), the staff of Rosas’ Royal High School (Elsie Lovelock, Michael Kovach, Alfred Molina, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Thomas Sanders, Bob Peterson, and John Ratzenberger), and more.

Scott should’ve been Maui with the younger brothers as Pua and HeiHei respectively!

Boy, was this one very late! I suppose it makes sense for Deja Vu to be Asha, but Glumshanks as Magnifico? Some of the wishes of the villains are funny, some are questionable, others just stupid. I've watched Wish myself, and I understand how other people don't like it, but that's not gonna stop me from owning a copy for myself!
